Karen, the Best I used an internet buying service to shop for a 2014 Toyota Avalon. Through the service, I was matched with four dealers in the Dallas area; and, aft I used an internet buying service to shop for a 2014 Toyota Avalon. Through the service, I was matched with four dealers in the Dallas area; and, after selecting an option that gave these dealers my contact information, I heard from all four. From the beginning, Karen Schlatterer of Cowboy Toyota, Dallas, had the most competitive price, and, I enjoyed working with her the most. She was informative and persistent without being pushy, and, gave me "room" to make a decision, which was, frankly, easy. She found my vehicle (only one that matched what I wanted existed in a 5-state area); made the contacts necessary to get it; then, when she learned there was a potential issue with it, carefully and exhaustively gave me information I needed so I could make a final decision about this vehicle. I will say that if you are going to trade in a car as a part of your deal, no matter where you go, do your homework, in advance. But, this is not Karen's issue, or a criticism, just a word to the wise. Karen was personable, knowledgeable, respectful, and appeared to genuinely enjoy helping me get what I wanted. She was a 5-Star joy work with. If you are in the market for a new Toyota, talk to Karen. I have confidence in recommending her and telling you that she will treat you right. More

I have purchased over 25 vehicles and this was the best buying experience. Robert was straight forward with none of the usual sales games. I visited a total of 4 dealerships. Robert's response to phone calls and emails were always prompt and clearly provided all the information I requested the first time. The finance manager presented additional options in a low pressure manner with just the facts. Cowboy Toyota was not the most luxurious but had a great friendly atmosphere. They were the furthest from my home, about 30 miles. The closest dealer was only 8 miles. My Tacoma arrived with all the options I requested, completely cleaned with a full tank of gas ready to go. I would highly Robert Schultz at Cowboy Toyota if you are interested in buying a new vehicle. More
One of the best car buying experiences ever Let me preface this review by saying that I am a former used car salesman, am well versed in financing, and am aware of many of the tricks employed by Let me preface this review by saying that I am a former used car salesman, am well versed in financing, and am aware of many of the tricks employed by most new and used car dealerships. So hearing the news from my amazing service adviser, Tim, that my 2006 Toyota Prius needed a new HV central battery was not the way I envisioned my weekend to start. After processing the $3800 price tag for the repairs, I did some quick mental math to figure out that it might not be the best idea to spend that much money to fix an 8-year old car with over 127,000 miles. Tim was extremely professional and went over all of my available options, going as far as calling GE Capital to see if they would consider granting me a credit line increase on my CareCredit account, which Cowboy Toyota's Service Department accepts as form of payment. When it was clear that I might be throwing good money after bad, I decided to check out my other options. I was willing to consider buying new or pre-owned, Toyota or another brand, and even took time to check out on my phone a 2009 Smart car from CarMax. In the meantime, Tim called Liane from the Sales Department to come meet me, explained to her my predicament, and asked her to take good care of me. Enough to say that Liane did that, and then some. She skipped her lunch (I did notice, Liane) in order to run several (okay 7 or 8) different scenarios taking into account my budget, my current financial situation, and the fact that I am a brand new teacher on a limited income. She handled the credit pre-authorization, the appraisal of my old Prius, and a cursory test drive (I really did not need to be sold on the revamped 2014 Toyota Corolla). Liane was a real trooper whenever I made a slightly different request, which necessitated another approval from the General Manager. She insisted on giving another customer with a prior appointment to one of her colleagues, even as it was clear that I was just moments away from signing the purchase paperwork. And of course she insisted on hand delivering the vehicle to us, giving a personal tour of our new car and helping us program our phones into the hands-free system. All in all, this was by far one of the most satisfying car purchase experiences ever. Liane is a professional who clearly cares more about her customers' needs than simply getting the deal, any deal, done. She never once lost patience with me as I zigged and I zagged my way through 8 different car options. She got me the car that I wanted for the payment that I expected, even managing to include the extended coverage I really wanted but was afraid I could not afford. All of this while never once losing her cool or her permanent smile. Like I said, she is a pro. It feels like I have known her for years, even if I really only met her hours ago. Needless to say, she is stuck with me as a customer for as long as I live in the DFW Metroplex. I only hope that my next car purchase will not be under the same circumstances as my first... Most recently, my family was in a dilemma over our elderly parents driving and the decision was made that they no longer needed to be driving as a safety for themselves and others. Ed quickly had a buyer for their car (not even a Toyota) and worked with us every step of the way to expedite the sale, title transfer, etc. Ed always goes the extra mile and even hand delivered the check for the sale of their car to our home. We are moving our business to Dallas and needed a company car so I entered what I wanted (2014 Prius in Blizzard Pearl, package 4 with deluxe solar su We are moving our business to Dallas and needed a company car so I entered what I wanted (2014 Prius in Blizzard Pearl, package 4 with deluxe solar sunroof) on Truecar. Many dealerships harassed me with up to 6 employees calling me in a day, or the same person calling me 3 times. Many dealerships attempted to sell me something they had in stock as opposed to the specific vehicle I clearly requested. All of my communication with Karen was pleasant, prompt and professional with no pressure whatsoever. On the day I picked up the car she picked me up from my hotel near the airport (thanks for the ride!!) and brought me to the dealership. As I am not from Texas she answered my many questions politely, stuff I am sure all of the locals already know. Everything was completely ready for me upon my arrival. When she took me to the car, she even programmed in the NTTA office into the GPS to show me how it worked and get me all set up to get my toll pass. I could not have made the experience any easier, more pleasant or efficient. I am looking forward to having our car serviced here and purchasing other company cars when needed from Karen. More

I was helping my 88yr old Mother look for a replacement vehicle for her 1997 Buick. I first scheduled a visit with Robert without my Mother to see what vehicle might fit her needs and budget. Robert was very thorough and patient with showing me several Toyota vehicles and answering all my questions. When I asked for his professional opinion he asked me questions to be able to give me a well thought out answer and then explained the different options as related to buying, leasing, or financing the vehicle. I scheduled a second visit and this time brought my my Mother with. Robert had the perfect selection already pulled up prior to our arrival and proceeded to give a a great presentation as to what the Camry offered in terms of equipment and features. I was most impressed by his knowledge of the safety features and how it compared to other makes and models. It is a pleasure working with someone who was patient, knowledgeable, and professional and I would definitely recommend Robert Schultz and Cowboy Toyota to others. More
