Our experience with Honda Dealership in Cerritos Ca was - The sales portion of our experience with our Salesperson Reza Ashashari was amazing. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and confident about the whole sales process. I bought my brand new car on a Wednesday. On the other hand , we are extremely disappointed with the Dealership, especially the service department. Within a couple of days (Sunday) my car started making a rattling noise. I called the dealer and I was transferred to the sales person who happened to be Reza. I explained the noise and I even video taped the sound and let him hear it, he was very concerned since it’s a new car. I was told to bring the car in on Monday it should be something easy to fix and I didn’t need an appointment since the car was bought less than 4 days ago. It should be an easy and quick fix. No appointment needed. It was anything but. My husband took the car in for me and I drove his car to work. My husband happened to be off that Monday. When the car was taken Monday morning the first thing that my husband was told was -if you don’t have an appointment we will not be able to see your car you need an appointment Mondays are our busiest days. You can leave it but it will not be seen till the end of the day. Opposite of what we were told. Then, Honda in Cerritos has no shuttle services or loaner cars, so basically you are stranded there. My husband called me to inform me of the situation and that he would have to Uber back home. I called and spoke to a manager, I’m not going to lie I was getting upset because that is not what we were told. Long story short, an employee drove my husband home and my husband was told that we will get a call later that day in regards to the car. Well that was a flat lie, no one ever called him or me. I had to call 4 times and never could get an answer/update of the car. I was told that Jonathan Romero Service Manager will be contacting me. Never happened. I understand that Mondays are busy but there’s a way to communicate with your customers and have empathy towards the situation. I didn’t pay Pennies for this 2025 Honda CRV, you want us to buy your cars but when there’s an issue there’s no hurry to communicate with us that’s xxxxxxxx. Needless to say the car ended up staying in the service center over night my husband ended up without a car, because I had to borrow his car to go to work. He took the day off because we were told the car would be ready, however he would have to get a ride to the dealer. Again, so disappointing, no shuttles. I finally heard from Jonathan Tuesday morning a little after 8:30 am, but I’m at work so the car will have to stay there til I get home. Not only did I get 3 more calls from Jonathan but I also got text messages from him. Oh so now you remember us. Jonathan informed me that the source of the noise was a defected hubcap that a rock got inside of. They replaced the hubcap and that was the fix of the issue. So basically my car was not seen at all Monday and it took less than an hour to fix the problem. Again very disappointed at this Dealership in Cerritos. More
Found the issue with low tire pressure light. With in the service tech also found issue with ac unit. My Service Advisor was Michael Barr. Michael was friendly as he made eye contact with me and smiled. Clarified with me why I was bringing in my car. Fast & polite service however every time I pull up there’s a bunch of worker standing around at the beginning of the service line. Ash was extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. I sent a request late at night and he called me early the next morning. He answered all my questions very thoroughly. And scheduled a time for us to come down. He then had the Finance Manager call us to confirm the details before we arrived. We were 45 minutes late due to a delay on our end and traffic, but he was available for us the moment we arrived. He showed us the car and answered all our questions and got us connected with the Finance Manager. There was a normal expected wait time and process with the Finance Manager and then we got the keys from Ash. He was very friendly and kind and most important, he didn't try to bait and switch, add on items, or sell us something we didn't want. Thanks Ash and team. :) More
