My testimony is only regarding my purchase experience at OC Nissan Irvine. Today I had an incredible experience. I was ready to buy my Nissan through a private seller, but thought I would just stop by OC Ni OC Nissan Irvine. Today I had an incredible experience. I was ready to buy my Nissan through a private seller, but thought I would just stop by OC Nissan Irvine and take a look. I found my dream Xterra, but it was priced out of my range and I knew it would be impossible. Today I learned that if you just "TRY" the impossible can happen. I drove home in my new pre-owned Xterra tonight. They not only made me a dream deal, but they gave me every penny and I what I needed on my trade in. My advice would be to just "Stop by and Try" OC Nissan Irvine first before purchasing anything. There is nothing to lose by looking and you can only gain driving home in a new vehicle. Ask for Amir and Perry! These two men were the dream team! They were genuine people and true to the core. They worked FOR ME to make the deal happen. There was no stress with the purchase at all, I just told them what I had and what I wanted, and they fought for me. They will work for you! My wife and I were in search for a 2011 CUBE for our new family car. They are quite rare and hard to find now after the earthquake in Japan. Tony and his staff were very friendly and understanding of our family car. They are quite rare and hard to find now after the earthquake in Japan. Tony and his staff were very friendly and understanding of our situation, and found us our new car, ( only one with in 500 miles !) The team there is very patient and not pushy at all, and go through great lengths to find the exact car you are looking for. We are about to become first time parents, and Tony shared wonderful advice, stories, and experience that first time parents like ourselves greatly appreciate. Buying a car for me is usually just a get in and get out situation, but Tony and his team made it a far more warmer and memorable experience than what i am used to. I came to this dealership after a long day (10 hrs+)of car shopping. Hungry and irritated, I did not really want to be here. But it was my last stop of the night. Right when I got there the staff was extr car shopping. Hungry and irritated, I did not really want to be here. But it was my last stop of the night. Right when I got there the staff was extra friendly and didn't give you the car salesperson feel. I ended up buying that night and was really satisfy. OC Nissan Irvine was awesome compared to the 2 dealerships I had visited previously to buying my Nissan Versa which is why they deserve all 5s! He greeted us so pleaseantly and made sure we got everything we needed. I defenitely will recommend OC Nissan, Tony and Perry to everyone for a once in a lifetime car shopping experience. Overall I had an exceptional experience. Great crew and very friendly. There was a mixup at their other dealership in Garden Grove, where they went to pick up my car. But they got me food, treated me great, and gave me a free tank of gas. I would recommend them to anyone! More
We reluctantly returned to this dealer after a negative experience we had when we purchased our 2009 Cube from them. The salesman that sold us the car at that time seemed knowledgable, friendly enough and experience we had when we purchased our 2009 Cube from them. The salesman that sold us the car at that time seemed knowledgable, friendly enough and honestly, we had no complaint with him. His sales manager was another story. There is no nice way to say this; he was a joke. Seriously, the kind of guy that gives all the great car salesmen out there a bad name. Bottom line, we had done our homework and finally, we drove away with the deal we came for. Because that sales manager and his "sales tactics" had left us with such an unpleasant memory, we went to two other Nissan dealers this past weekend in search of a mini van. Unfortunately they didn't have exactly what we were looking for. As a last resort we called OC Nissan Irvine and "Lee" answered the phone. He was pleasant enough on the phone, but lied about having what we were looking for. When we arrived and realized we had been misled, we decided to go ahead and go for a test drive anyway. Lee not only knew less about the Quest than we did, he was somewhat rude. Alrighty then. We chalked it up to the possibility that maybe he was new (or having a bad day?) and since we actually liked the van that he had shown us, we headed back into the showroom with him to talk "numbers". We were then introduced to his manager. For the record, this was a different sales manager than the guy we dealt with in 2009. He seemed friendly enough and although they didn't have what we were looking for on the lot, he made an attempt to check with other dealers in California. No luck there but he did come up with a potential solution for us. We asked for a minute to talk things over and stepped out to our car. We hadn't been sitting in the car for a full minute when Lee showed up at the driver's window to "negotiate". When my husband told him we just needed a minute, he began raising his voice and saying "look, I'm just trying to get you what you want and him (referring to his sales manager) what he wants". He asked "what would it take for you to buy the car". When my husband told him what we had been offered on the very same vehicle at the other local Nissan dealers, Lee began raising his voice and became argumentative once again. We explained that if they couldn't come close to that then no hard feelings, but we would obviously return to one of the dealers that could. Honestly, it wasn't a big deal to us, just common sense ($5,000 worth of common sense). Lee became angry and basically called my husband a liar. By this time our two year old was beginning to become upset by Lee's raised voice so my husband proceeded to get out of the car and tell him that he needed to learn how to talk to customers and that we wouldn't be returning. As we started to drive away Lee stood on the sidewalk laughing. Well Mr. Lee, your attitude sent us back to another dealer, where we proceeded to buy a $40,000 van 3 hours later. OC Nissan Irvine, it is obvious from reading other reviews that you have some good employees. Unfortunately you have a few bad apples in the bunch and this one was too rotten for us. More
We just bought a new Altima and Tony was our sales person and we had the best experienc. He was honest and patient. He explained well and worked with us. They really wanted to sell.
