Hi, Kristie and Greg. We are sorry that you were disappointed with your recent service visit. We understand that situations like his can be frustrating. A diagnostic charge is an industry standard that ensures a quality repair facility is able to compensate their technicians and advisors for the time the vehicle is in the shop. However, at our facility, we do roll that cost over into the repair once it is performed. If you had proceeded with service at our facility that $65 would have been credited towards your repair costs. We don't believe in surprises and make sure that we tell all of our customers up front about this charge, as well as obtain a signature. At the time we diagnosed your vehicle's concern we did have the sensor in stock, but unfortunately we would have needed to order the proper nut for the repair. As a Certified Nissan Facility we are required to use Genuine Nissan Parts. The tire store that serviced your vehicle most likely used aftermarket parts, which would explain the difference in packaging and price. We would have loved to be able to service your vehicle that day and we apologize for the inconvenience that this caused.
