I was told by a salesman the payoff of my vehicle was $19,000 when it was actually $11.400. Then, even though my car is in good condition, I was only offered $6000 for my vehicle (Kelly Blue Book for 'g $19,000 when it was actually $11.400. Then, even though my car is in good condition, I was only offered $6000 for my vehicle (Kelly Blue Book for 'good' was over $13,000 by the way). Their reasoning? They stated my vehicle needed brakes. Did I mention the vehicle I'm speaking of is a Nissan? I was dealing with a salesman (the one who stated the payoff was approximately $8,000 more than the actual amount) AND Store Manager (the one who offered me over half less than what is left owed). Very poor customer service skills and attitude. I will not go back and strongly caution anyone else. More
First of all, I wasnt desperate for a vehicle, but I received a card in the mail said I was pre-approved so I decided to check it out. I purchased a vehicle at the end of May 2011. Prior to signing pape received a card in the mail said I was pre-approved so I decided to check it out. I purchased a vehicle at the end of May 2011. Prior to signing paperwork I informed my sales rep that the vehicle needed new tires and new back tail light because it was cracked. They agreed to fix those problems and I signed the paperwork. In the glove compartment I find a bill of sale from someone who previously tried to but the car and it revealed that NISSAN OF UNION CITY SOLD THE CAR TO ME FOR $2000.00 MORE. Yes, they raised to price on the car. So tell me how does the value of a car go up. Secondly, when I returned a couple of weeks later to get the WE OWE taken care of. I was informed that the deal had not been finalized. The bank would not finance me for that amount. Therefore Nissan of Union City had to lower the price of the car as if they were doing me a favor because they tried to sell it to someone else for 2000.00 cheaper. So they told me they would call me when the finalized the deal so I could come in and resign paperwork. The next week I went in to resign and David told me that I needed to put more money down. I informed David that I didn't have money to put down that I had other obligations and that they could have their car back because I have another car that I own and I that I wasn't desperate for a car. He then told me that I would not get my down payment back they would charge me for the miles put on the car. Subquently, I agreed to put another 500.00 down payment down which I postdated. However, about a week later I received a call that I needed to come in AGAIN and resign paperwork. At this point I am pissed and ready for them to get their vehicle back. So on the NEW paperwork that I signed they moved the due date of my first car not up which was around the time that I had postdated a check for. I made David Mcadoo aware of this problem and he told me DONT WORRY ABOUT IT THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY THE ADDITIONAL DOWN PAYMENT. HE TOLD ME THAT HE KNOWS THAT THIS HAS A BEEN A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS TRANSACTION AND THAT HE WOULD DO THAT FAVOR FOR ME. I was very elated and signed the paperwork. I did not get my check back that day so I decided to put a stop payment so that they did not mistakenly run it through and mess up my bank account. I received a call a month later from a Nelly who informed me that my check was returned. I informed Nelly that David told me that I did not have to pay. So she said she would talk to David and call me back. BEHOLD DAVID DENIES HE EVER TOLD ME THIS. AFTER FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB AND SENDING THE OWNER AND OTHER MANAGERS A COMPLAINT EMAIL I AM NOW HAVING TO GO TO COURT OVER THIS MATTER. DONOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE LIARS AND THEY DO NOT VALUE YOUR BUSINESS. THEY PREY ON CONSUMERS AND DONOT HONOR WHAT THEY SAY OR CARE ABOUT YOU AS PERSON. I heard the advertisment on the radio they could help any one with credit issues,I was very sceptical because all dealership say they can help but most of them just say that to get you in the door.Well when one with credit issues,I was very sceptical because all dealership say they can help but most of them just say that to get you in the door.Well when i went to nissan union city, they treated me with such respect, and handled me with care and concern.I really appreciate what they did for me they made me feel like a real person again. They got me approved, and worked with me on the down payment, found me several very nice cars in my monthly payment range I wanted.I could not tell you how many places I went to and they made me feel so bad about myself.I am so grateful to all the sales people and the managers for treating me so well, and making the whole experience so great.I have read some of the other reviews, and it must of been a rare events, because the couple times I went there,I saw many happy customers, they were and are always very busy there but they were running around making sure eveyone was well taken care of, and provided drinks a big screen tv, clean bathrooms, and great service...I highly recommend this dealership to EVERYONE!!!!! no matter what the credit. This place is awesome!! This place is a total rip off. They lie and cheat and steal from the customers. Buyer be ware. DO NOT SHOP AT NISSAN OF UNION CITY .....YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY YOU DID!!!!!!! I put a large down paymen steal from the customers. Buyer be ware. DO NOT SHOP AT NISSAN OF UNION CITY .....YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY YOU DID!!!!!!! I put a large down payment on a used car. The dealership did not have the title to the car in order to sale it legally.Subseqently I could not obtain the tag. There were many mechanical problems that were not fixed over several visits. I retutned the car to the dealership. The general manager Sam Agui refused to return my money. He got loud, disrespectful and unprofessional with me. He raised his voice as if he was the one who was being ripped off. Nakia Horton was very rude , she is a lyier, unprofessional and ghetto. They are the Bunny and Clyde of Georgia.(robbing customers) Is this how they make there money at Nissan of union City by lying to people and stealing consumers money????? This is not a good business. The bill of rights, amendment 14 under the civil rights act are not being respected by Nissan Of Union City management team. The Declaration ofIndependence clearly states " that ALL people ARE treated equal." Sam Agui does not treat woman equal perhaps because he is not an american citizen. At any rate I believe that as one Georgia native said in a historical speech "Truth crushed to earth will rise again." Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.King would be very ashamed at how Nissan Of Union City does business and how Scott Smith aquires his wealth. Preying on hardworking citizens. To hold someone's money without producing the product is unethical, immoral, illegal and inhuman. This ia an outrage. We do not need this kind of business in the community stealing from hard working American citizens. This is the begining of the champaign to get Nissan of Union City out of the state of Georgia, shut down, closed, bankrupt, whatever it takes for justice to prevail. All media has ben alerted. More
Took cousin to purchase her first car to start credit. Jerome and Nakia was nice when selling the car to my cousin. Gave them a posted dated check for the down payment. Two weeks later, cousin took cash t Jerome and Nakia was nice when selling the car to my cousin. Gave them a posted dated check for the down payment. Two weeks later, cousin took cash to make a partial payemnt on her downpayment. Took the cash to her salesman(Jerome). Told my cousin that he could not take her money and that she had to wait till Nakia to come in, which was 1PM. 1Pm came and went and Nakia was a know show. Took her two days to finally make her payment and to retreive the check that I post dated for her. Within in two weeks of having the vehicle, cousin started having problems with the car(engine light came on and car shooked real bad when she reached 55 or higher on the highway). Called to see if she could bring her car in to be looked. She was told that she would have to call the warranty company and have them to make an appointment. Be mindful, she just bought the car from them no more than two weeks ago, so why could they have not just looked at the vehicle for her. Went up to the dealership on Monday, August 22, 2011 with my cousin to take care of the matter. When we arrived I asked to speak with the manager. It was kind of funny when I told him the situation and when I told him that we dealt with Nakia and Jerome, and he replied "Oh Lord". Which tells me this wasn't the first compliant against this ghetto xxx employee. From the start she was rude and kept trying to over talk me and my cousin. Finally, my cousin said that she just wanted to get into another vehicle. Nakia replied" We would have to appraise the vehicle". I was like, what the xxxx for. She just purchased the vehicle two weeks ago and she keep replying the car was funded, which meant to me "We got paid and who gives a two cent about your vehicle". finally we had enough and gave Nakia the keys back to the car. She literally thru the keys back at us, so I nicely picked the keys up and put them back on her desk, once again she thru the keys on the floor, the final draw was that I threw the keys back at her abd called her ghetto unprofessional. The threaten to call the cops on me and I told them to do that, and when I said that you should have seen the expression on their faces. In a few, I am on my to Channel 5 news and to the court to file a compliant and will be contacting the BBB as well. Please stay away from this dealership, they are a rip off, used cars are not worth the money, and only want your money. More

I started this process at the end of April shopping for a car for my family and was referred to other dealerships thru Roadloans until I requested Roadloans to recommend a Nissan Dealership in my area. My initial choice was the Z 370 but I couldn't be financed for the complete loan for that particular car. The Nissan Dealership in Union city worked with me until I could find a car that was in my budget range. I wanted a sports car and I went with the Altima Coupe and I must say I have been enjoying the sporty little car without a big car payment. I would like to thank all involved at the Nissan Dealership in Union City for helping get me in a new 2011 car. Thank You, Mitchell Rock More
We shopped several dealerships to decide on the vehicle that we wanted to purchase. Nissan of Union City gave us the information that we needed to know that a Nissan van was best for us.
