Mike and Paul in the Finance Dept. at Nissan 112 are a bunch of scam artists. We were owed 12 months of an unused portion of the extended warranty that we purchased when we traded in our 2008 Nissan Rogu bunch of scam artists. We were owed 12 months of an unused portion of the extended warranty that we purchased when we traded in our 2008 Nissan Rogue (which btw had several electrical problems/issues). We were ignored for 6 months with promises that the check is in the mail and we should be receiving it any week....blah, blah, blah. It wasnt until after we got Nissan corporate involved that we found out that they did not have any of the paperwork we gave them and they had no record of when we cancelled our warranty. Well if that wasn't convenient enough after our phone records showed that we had corresponded with them over the past 6 months, they suddenly got amnesia and denied ever having any discussion about a warranty partial refund. Well we just got a check in the mail after corporate got involved and it is only for 6 of the 12 months we were owed. Mike promised us that it would have been from the original date we cancelled the warranty, however he only put in for 6 months from the time corporate got involved in the process. They are a bunch of CROOKS!!! Do not ever think of buying a vehicle from these scam artists. More
Let me first start of by saying I love my Nissan 2007 Altima Hybrid I bought from Nissan 112. BUT these people are scam artisits. I will list the reasons why.. -I was lied to about the price of the car. I was told one price then when I was ready for purchase they added a $900 "used car fee". I should have walked out then. This is a common scam that Nissan of Smithtown got sued for. I have proof of this and I am in the proccess of contacting the Attorney General's Office. -My car had scratches that I was told would be buffed out. This was not the case when I purchased and all I was offered was a can of touch up paint -My rear window switch was out of the holder with wires exposed. I didnt notice this until I got home. -After two month of driving the car I blew a tire. When I asked my local mechanic he said there is no way I had new tires when I bought the car. They were just rotated. I guess that wasnt included in my "used car" fee. I informed them of all my problems after purchase. I told them I would write bad reviews and contact the attorney general and they still did nothing. DO NOT buy a car from them. They are thieves. More

Josh was friendly and helpful from the moment I met him. He took the time to listen to my concerns regarding the shopping experiences I had so far that day (which were not great). He understood what I found most frustrating and, I believe, tailored his sales approach to suit me. He showed me the vehicles I was interested in and walked me through the various features and answered all my questions with professionalism and a good nature. He gave me honest answers and opinions, and asked me point blank what my pricing needs were. When the first vehicle I was interested in didn't fit with my budget, Josh told me right away that the numbers wouldn't work out. He did not attempt to make them work or change my budget or put more money down. He was even open to explaining to me the fustrating process I experienced earlier in the day and assured me that as he promised, he would not apply any of these types of tactics. He understood what I wanted to do and was willing to find the car that would fit into my initial plan. My end result was very satisfying. We leased a new Altima and came in just under the original budget and the car is beautiful and is going to be perfect for us. I would like to thank and commend Josh for making car shopping more fun and less stressful than I have ever experienced before. He is a great people person and asset to Nissan. Go Red Devils! More
Very disgusted with the dishonesty and tactics used by Nissan 112. I was told one thing the night I thought we had a deal. I was told drive out the door for eighteen two and change, then threw in a 2000 d Nissan 112. I was told one thing the night I thought we had a deal. I was told drive out the door for eighteen two and change, then threw in a 2000 dollar trade they had appraised a day earlier which according to my calculations should equal sixteen two. Things started getting suspicious that evening before we left though. I was paying primarily cash and only wanted to borrow 5 thousand, so I needed to know how much to get the bank check for. After a short conference amongst themselves they told me there was a 7500 minimum finance amount, I understood and agreed. I still needed to know how much to get the check for and when I asked another conference developed. Salesman came back and told me to bring 11k. I said wait a minute I shouldnt need that much if I need to borrow 7500. I was told (I forgot his name)would be able to work it out so the loan would be for less than 7500. I leave for the night with nothing at all except their meaningless word. I show up the next day to pick up the car with my daughter (the car was for her) and her friend who was estatic to be getting a brand new car. They take her plates from her car put them on the new one and give her the keys. Then we go in with the finance guy where they tried to stick me with a 7500 loan and take my 11k for a transaction that should be sixteen and change. Needless to say we left them with the car and a few valuable lessons for my daughter and her friend: 1) Pay attention to what you are signing and not to be suckered in to "it will only be X$'s more per month" no matter how much you wanted that car. 2) Never go back to Nissan 112 More

The initial price quoted was reasonable (as well as the final price), and he went out of his way to locate the specific model that I was loking for. At no time did he try to sell me something that I did not want. Picking up my new vehicle was equally painless. The sales manager had all of the documents ready, and was available to explain everything. I was not forced to stand around the dealership waitning for things to be ready, as I have experienced at other dealerships. Finally, Josh spent time reviewing some of the features of the vehicle. He was patient and helpful, and I never had the feeling that he was in a hurry. More
