Dealing with Nissan 112, Medford, NY was by far the worst experience I have ever had with any car dealership. It was, perhaps one of the worst dealing with any company in my life. I believe they deliberate experience I have ever had with any car dealership. It was, perhaps one of the worst dealing with any company in my life. I believe they deliberately mislead, misinformed and under informed my daughter and I when she was purchasing a new car. When my daughter went there on her own to discuss the issue, they were condescending and insulting. Avoid this dealership. We have made over 8 trips back to the dealership. They promise to call but never call. They could not care less about a customer once they have your money. More
I went looking for a ford transit . Saw it on line talked to Gwen the sales person and set a appointment to look at it. The truck needed some clean up and fix the mirror and other things. I called Gwen up and she told me the truck was all detailed and all the repaires were made it was like new .I wanted to make sure it was all done since I live 1-hr away and my boss was coming from queens so asked her to go back out and check again. She called me and said it was all taken care of . Sat. I got there first and saw Gwen she gave me the keys and said go check it out. to my surprise the truck was the same as I left it thursday!!!!!!All they did was drive it to the other side.I wouldn`t go back there if they were the last car dealer on long island....... on april 2 i went to buy a murano2013 cash after they told me the price i went with the money to get the car at the end i end up financial $24000 dollar right after they get from me $34000 for a car pri told me the price i went with the money to get the car at the end i end up financial $24000 dollar right after they get from me $34000 for a car price of $37000 . they change the car price so high that i was crasy trying to be out of that situacion.next day i went and they told me in order to be out of the financial i had to pay $9000 and after that they will return me $5000 because i cancel a extra warranty. now they say i do not have money back that money was in the car price. a car which value was $37000 i end up paying $50000 . i still trying to get my money back .i do not ever recomend that dealer to anybody More
What a breeze Nissan 112 makes it to pick out a perfect car. I came in with my wife and they were so kind and helpful throughout the whole process, made her feel especially comfortable with the buying proc car. My wife found the used car we were interested in on their site. She negotiated a "walking out the door price" with a salesman who told us to come in the next day to close the deal with his manager since it w site. We met with Raf the next day, test drove the car and then sat down to close the deal. The first seed that something was wrong was planted when he pulled up the car on the screen then looked at the negotiated price and mumbled "I think he made a mistake". When we protested that was the agreed upon price and that was why we came in he excused himself from the room to talk to a mgr. He came back in 10 minutes later to tell us although the price was very aggressive, they would stand behind it. He then proceeded to calculate the price with sales tax and somehow came up with a figure almost $1500 higher than what ny state tax should have added. When I questioned why the jump, he got a little flustered, left the room to talk with a manager again and proceeded to come back 10 minutes later to inform us that the car had been sold. This dealership is a throw back to the 80's and 90's when car salesmen were lower than stereo salesman on the credibility scale. I travel in big circles and plan on telling this story to as many people as will listen. More
I have given such a high rating because overall, Nissan 112 was great, especially Josh Banks. I was in a car accident on June 5th. Nothing major, but my Ford Focus was totaled. I began looking for a used car shortly after that. I searched for about 3 days. I went to Nissan 112 website a saw a Ford Fusion, that looked like something I would want. The price was right, mileage was low, and the color or the car and interior was what also caught my eye. I submitted a online request and received a call from Josh Banks about 10 minutes later. We talked about the car for a bit, and because of the local hospital in the area that I work at, he already dropped the price before I even went to see the car. So a few hours later, I went up to test drive the car. I fell in love with it. The car was immaculate inside and drove like it was literally brand new. This was Thursday June 13th. Josh was very nice and extremely helpful. He answered all questions without hesitation. At that point, I already made my decision that I wanted that car!! The only thing I was waiting on was to see what my monthly payments were gonna be. I didn't want to be paying anymore or much more than what my car payment was for my Focus. So we went through the paper work and figured out what my payment would be. It was about $30 more than what my old payment was. $30 may not seem like a lot to some people and it wasn't a huge deal to me, but I already went in there saying I cannot and will not pay more than I was paying. So I signed a paper, but this didn't mean that I was definitely buying the car. Never did I feel like Josh pushed me into anything. He said they would try to work with me. So on Friday, the very next day, I went up to Nissan 112 to see what it was gonna be, and if I was gonna take the car or not. Still I as leery about the payments. So, the payments remained the same as what they told me the day before. Other than that, I loved the car and really wanted it. Between Josh and 2 other guys in the finance dept, they tried for a half hour to see what they could do. When they came back in, they gave me the new price. It was exactly what I wanted it to be!!! I was very happy and happy that they were so willing to work with me! They even lowered the price a little more to get me more in my price range. No other place would do this. A local place I went to a few at before lowered the price of a Ford Fusion $180.00 only. What a big difference. It's like the people at Nissan 112 want you to be happy and come back again and again. I know I definitely would. Great staff, especially Josh Banks. He was definitely the best salesman I ever had to deal with. He was not pushy. He knows a lot of information, and even gives his personal cell phone number incase you have further questions. The was extremely funny and made me forget all about me wrecking my old car. I definitely would recommend Josh Banks to our people. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I'm glad I made the division to go to Nissan 112, even though I bought a Ford vehicle. Needless to say, I drove the car away that day and I was extremely happy. A week later, and I still am in love with this car!!! Thanks Josh Banks for helping me out so much. When I went to the dealership to purchase my car it was a mess, I dealt with another sales person who showed no interest in really assisting me and push me off to someone else who happen to be Chris, there were several errors made and I was upset. when I did the ratings I never mentioned that Chris was the cause of me being unsatisfied, it was the overall dealings with this dealership. In fact Chris is the only one that was patient, and through out all the mix-ups and mistakes he is the only one that went out his way to correct them and trust me I am not an easy person to deal with when I am angry and he was patient and he did go above and beyond to correct the problems the dealership made. This form does not give you an option to choose who did what it only asked to enter an employee's name and I did because that's who helped me, but never did I try to put it out there that he was the cause of my dissatisfaction. I still would not recommend this dealership to my friends or family Unless they can deal directly with Chris, because the other salesman I first dealt with and whomever was responsible for the careless errors that gave me such a headache with a new car was not interested in assisting me and if Chris would have not did what he did those problems would have gone on for much longer. So this is a rebuttal to correct the review I wrote. More
Nissan 112 is a great dealership. No wasted time, and the employees are so knowledgable that it is easy to find out all the details quickly and honestly! This was the worst dealer I have ever been to in my life!! They are liars and crooks! Don't ever buy from them! You will get ripped off! We went in to trade my 2010 Murano for a new 2013 Murano. We dealt with Gwen, who wanted to make me change my mind about car buying, and make it a positive experience for me. She did exactly the opposite. She just told us what we wanted to hear. Had the GM, Ray come over and agree to the price we felt comfortable with. She said it was a done deal. She had me transfer all my stuff out of my old car into the new one. She helped me set up the Bluetooth in the car and set up navigation. We were ready to drive off. Plates were transferred onto the car, my registration was ripped off the old one. All we had to do was just sign and drive. NO! We got to the back room with the finance guy, who couldn't even look us in the eye, no personality, and a total slime. He started handing us page after page to sign. I realized that he was trying to get us to sign for a 3,000 down payment. We agreed on 0 down. They all went to chat. He came back and said ok, you won't have the 3,000 down. Now we go to sign and the payment went from our agreed 550 a month to 559 a month. Thank god we pay attention to these things. And all while this is happening, Gwen is quiet and pretending like she knows nothing about it. What a phony! Then they say ok, we can have it at the 550 price and my husband asks about the 72 month term. The guy says no, it's 84 months. They really tried to screw with us three times too many! And they apparently get away with this a lot! They should not be in business! We had them put the plates back on our car so we could leave and not buy! We drove away and realized we didn't have our registration. They told us it was in the car. We found it in a bunch if pieces ripped up. Nice! They ruined 3 1/2 hours of our loves that we can't get back. And they promised us a great experience and said we'd be out in an hour. They are the WORSt in the business! Never again! We woke up today and traded our Murano in for a Kia Sorento. It's much nicer and we got a great deal elsewhere by people that weren't taking advantage of us! I'm glad I never have to set foot in a Nissan again! Beware of this place! They are crooks! More
