I had a 2 major problems with my new Kia (purchased from Nemet). After a month the horn only worked intermittently. Also, after six months, paint on my back bumper started to peel off. Service Mgr. decided to replace the entire assembly (horn)and have my bumper repainted. I take my Kia to Nemet for regular service because I like the way I am treated and I trust the Service Manager. Although the Service Mgr. is very busy, he always takes time to address any questions I have. More

I never enjoyed having to purchase a new car. I always feel like I am being taken advantage of until I shopped at Nemet motors. I went to the Nemet Kia dealership on July 14. Upon entering the establishment I was greated by very friendly staff. The establishment itself was dirty looking and run down. There was even a hole in the middle of the door of my salesman's "office". I wanted a brand new Kia Sorento. I thought I was getting a good deal for $33,500. As it turns out, my salesman is a conartist. Not only was he not fully knowledgable of the car and it's functions but he failed to inform me that Kia is currently offering $2000 in rebates and incentives. He was clearly trying to pocket that money in his commission. He had extremely poor follow up - in fact, there was no follow up at all - I had to be the one calling him. Finally on the 19th, after I called him, again, he tells me he found my car but it was 300 miles away and would have to be driven to the location. I was beyond livid. I didn't want that car, he said he would call me on Friday the 20th, but never did. That same Friday (July 20, 2012) I contacted Yonkers Kia and made an appointment to see them the next day. I told them what I wanted and my experience with Nemet Kia. The saleslady told me she didn't have my car on the lot but to come in anyway to talk and get the ball rolling. I was very much impressed when I entered that establishment. It was clean, staff was very professional, friendly, helpful and attentive, not to mention very knowledgable of the vehicle and it's functions. I went to Nemet on July 14. Today is July 27, 2012 and I still have not heard back from the salesman. I went to Yonkers Kia on Saturday, July 21st, and walked out of there with a fully loaded 2013 Sorento SX and I couldn't be any happier. Not to mention I got a much better deal! More
My experience was horrible! The person who sold me the car, Damon was nice and cooperative but after that, everything was horrible! The finance department tried to add so many fees it was ridiculous! They even over charged me for DMV because allegedly they could only estimate it. On top of that they charged me a fee for processing DMV and really messed me up when my registration took soo long to come, I had to pick it up myself! I believe the person I spoke to about the fees was Carlos. He is an xxx and didn't really care that I had to pick up my registration rather than receive it in the mail! To make matters worse, when I found looked at my registration, I realized that I was overcharged. To make a long story short, I went back to the finance dept and got a refund for my over charged DMV fees. I also got a refund for an intercept anti theft device that I refused to let them install but was still charged for. It was supposed to lower my insurance but that is a lie! My experience here was horrible and I don't trust them at all! More

I've offered them $12k down on the new car and they couldn't found a car for a month. I've left $1k deposit and I couldn't get my money back !!! More
