They say that they do a multi point check and the tire pressure varied from high to low and 2 dust caps missing. Once out on the highway at 77 MPH the tires were out of balance and they wouldn't do anything about it, so we spent 150 to get tires rotated and balanced. All of that was in June. Just now took back for complimentary oil change and they allowed oil from filter to spill into a protective cover that leaked out on our garage floor. The access cover for the oil filter was missing. We are not sure if that happened with this oil change or before we bought it. They promised a floor mat for the driver side and have never got it. On the extended warranties they used scare tactics. We purchased a 2019 Rogue from them two weeks ago today. I won’t say too much bad about their sales staff because they were fairly nice and got through the buying process fairly simply. Only thing they did I won’t say too much bad about their sales staff because they were fairly nice and got through the buying process fairly simply. Only thing they did was push a 3500 warranty. Absolutely not worth it. They said GAP is required by the lender yet the lender says it’s not.But we’ll handle that later. The first day the AC would blow warm if you were at a stoplight but wasn’t overheating or anything. We just figured the AC needed a recharge I’ll get it the upcoming weekend when I’m off. Friday rolls around and it overheats. Pop the hood and the fans not spinning Well that’s no good but not a huge deal. Look up the part to fix can get a replacement for alittle over 100$ .But I’ve only had it for 10 days at this point. They said they did a 200 point check on it right? And it had a “90 day 3000 mile” warranty. Well just drop it off up there and see what they say. So first thing they tried to do was push that warranty again. No we don’t want it. Ok we’ll check it out and call you tonight. They did not. It’s a common with Rogues. Its a Nissan dealership I gave them every piece of information needed to figure it out. They call us later the next day and say it’s the fan. We’ll yeah so what are you going to do. They’re answer told me everything I need to know about this dealership. Well that repair is $2066 and it’s not covered under our warranty but you can come in and add the extended warranty and it’ll be covered or our we will do you a huge favor and pay half so it would only be $1033. The thievery in these people is absolutely appalling. I ordered the part got it the same day. Told them we wanted to come get it They said they didn’t know where the keys were and we’d have to wait till Monday so we could get it. Got it back today(Monday) had to pay for the diagnostic from them….$180 for a car you sold a week ago and can visually see the problem. Again trying to steal every penny, put in the new fan and fixed. Took me a hour and a few dirty hands. Now how is that 500-1500 in labor. I’m also not use to a Nissan and not a tech. Mostly M1151A1s in the Army. They did a 200 point check from their Nissan Certified Techs before they put it up for sale. You’re telling me they didn’t notice that, when I did first time I popped the hood looking? Absolutely horrible dealership. I have the ability and means to fix that problem. What if we didn’t as some people don’t. We had just bought it the week prior put 3 grand down. What if someone else had gotten it that didn’t know anything about cars and they couldn’t afford it or fix it. They were pushing that 3500 warranty which would be 5-7k after financing for most, to fix a problem that is 114.99 to fix at home. Now granted that fan is 500 direct from Nissan. But they said that’s 1500 dollars in labor to remove like 10 bolts and two cables…But they were doing us a favor and only charging 500. Unbelievable. At the very least whoever did the check on that car was incompetent and makes it a risk to buy any used car on that lot, and they also will not stand behind the product they sell, and that’s the best case scenario. They were pushing that warranty awfully hard though. They also will lie about what is required to get a loan. They will say the financier requires it when they do not. I know they won’t require a warranty so I got that dropped quick, but GAP I wasn’t sure about. Turns out they lied about that aswell. Very very shady dealership after the sale with very little care for the customer, while acting like they’re doing you a favor. I had the ability to avoid this mess they tried to create but how many people have they gotten that couldn’t.They lied about financing, they lied about repair costs, they tried to push a extremely overpriced warranty. If I can stop just one person from buying a car that has not been checked properly then I’ve succeeded. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and see what they would say before I fixed it. Marco was low pressure and helpful. I test drove a Nissan and a Chevy and bought the Nissan. Marco filled up the gas on the new car and our van since we drove from Louisville. We agreed best experience I've ever had purchasing a new vehicle. I talked with Mr. Larry Rose over the phone he had the vehicle I was interested in. We agreed on price, they made me a great offer for my trade-in and the deal was done. Larry was very transparent, and took the time to answer all my questions / concerns. I drove in from RRG area when I showed up car was ready and the paperwork was prepped. I took the vehicle for a test drive, I was in and out of the dealership in under 1hr. Everyone was friendly from the moment I walked in the front door I felt at home. Larry is knowledgeable he made me feel welcome and appreciated.
