Great Dealer and Sales Team As a rule, I'm not the biggest fan of auto dealerships, however, Nate Wade is a shining exception to that rule. Several years ago, I bought an STi from another dealer and had an "okay" experience. I took the STi into Nate Wade to have some service done since they were closer to my work. The service department was so impressive that when I started looking for a new Outback I went to Nate Wade first. I worked with Nick Smith in sales who got us into the right vehicle at a great price. Nick worked with us on his day off and came in early to help us close the deal. He was very knowledgeable on all the Outback options and helped us pick the right vehicle that had the options which were most important to us. Friendly, knowledgable and a great price... not much more you could ask for in a dealer and service team. More

Both employees gave me all of the information that I needed to feel comfortable that I was getting a fair deal, and there was clearly an intentional effort not to upsell me on unnecessary items or waste my time. I walked away with an incredible new car, the satisfaction of a fair deal and the feeling that the dealership truly cares about its customers. Well done. More

I Purchasing a new or used car can be a very frustrating and exhausting experience if you are not dealing with right person and right dealership. I my case, this was the first dealership I visited in my search for a used car based on a set budget and set parameters for the car. I went to Nate Wade Subaru at the suggestion of my significant other who had purchased a new Subaru there about a year and a half ago. The salesman she dealt with was Nick Smith and she was very pleased with the results in working with him and with the service and follow-up. Due to a recent operation, I was unable to test drive any cars although Nick (Smith) was kind enough to let me sit in several vehicles to make sure there was enough room for me in the driver's seat. I'm not fat, just tall. He also explained why a few earlier models I sat in did not have the room that later ones did and then suggested I try a slightly different model which was roomy enough. I told him I would be back when I was able to test drive whatever vehicles were available at the time. To make a long story shorter, when I was able to test drive, I went to several other dealers who "seemed" to have better deals and larger inventories based on what I found on their websites. However, after many exhausting days test driving what I really did not want, finding out that some of the cars listed on their websites were actually at another dealership (same ownership,) having other salesmen try to "up-sell" me even though I had e-mailed them exactly what my criteria was, having one salesman tell me he quit because his sales manager was not happy that I had not purchased a car yet (just after 9 days when all I could do was sit test,) I found a car on Nate Wade Subaru's website, immediately e-mailed Nick Smith about the car and set up an appointment for the same day, late morning. Nick already knew what my parameters were regarding price, mileage and condition and when I arrived he was ready for me with the keys, dealer plate for a test drive and said take your time. It was a Saturday and he did have other customers either waiting or already in the process of purchasing. I test drove the car and it met all my expectations except for the color. I really did not want a black car and asked Steve if he could turn it into blue and this then became a good joke between us. After my test drive and a thorough inspection of the car -a 2012 Hyundai Elantra GLS, I was still a bit undecided and did have one other dealer to go see and a list of cars they had. While the Nate Wade people were evaluating my trade-in (a 1988 Cadillac Sedan Deville in relatively decent condition but in need of lots of work) I called a friend who had recently purchased the same but a year newer. She said she loved it and said do it! Steve was willing to go over the list of vehicles I had from another dealership and we calmly eliminated them all due to higher prices, higher mileage and lower MPG. There was no pressure and I had already received an internet discount. My trade-in was a bit disappointing as it really had no value other than for parts but they agreed to give me an amount that was agreeable rather than nothing at all. Nick also showed me the true retail value of the car compared to our "deal" and I got it at just less than $1000 below suggested retail price. As I mentioned earlier, it was a Saturday and Nick was extremely busy but he took every moment to make sure the process when smoothly once I had made my decision. Again, there was no pressure, no running back and forth to his sales manager to change the deal, no games, no up-sell and no hassle. The entire experience was smooth and hassle free. The business manager, Steve Yates, was thorough, very friendly, considerate and since I was paying cash, he took the time to get to know me, my background and vice-versa. All in all, it was a very good experience and I would recommend Nate Wade Subaru and Steve Smith to anyone looking for a new or used car. I think that Nick was very professional and the irony is that he was the first one I dealt with and he did not pressure me to come back and test drive when ready. Again, no pressure and lots of patience on his part. As soon as I got home there were already two e-mails waiting for me, one from Nick Smith and the other from Nate Wade Subaru thanking me for my business and a request to fill out this form which I have now completed, with pleasure. More

I was given a fantastic price with absolutely no pressure and always felt welcome and taken care of. I had a very clear price breakdown, and was shown around the lot for different packages and features. Gentry kept excellent communication with me as I was in another state, and keep me up to date regarding the car's arrival, paperwork, and services. After picking up the car, Gentry showed the numerous standard features of my car and also helped me setup the bluetooth. Subaru really cannot have better representation than that from Nate Wade Subaru, and I look forward a few years down the line to purchasing another Subaru with them. More
