This is the fourth vehicle I've bought from Downtown Subaru. the first used, then three new ones (unfortunately I totaled the 2nd one I bought from them with less than 500 miles on the car). Dealer advertised a price for an oil change and filter, which was higher than many places around. I have always taken my cars to the dealers as they would obviously be more familiar with the make. So in spite of the higher price, I went with Nashville Subaru. When I got the bill, they tacked on an additional “shop supply” charge of about 15%. I had just recently moved from out of state and had never heard of such a thing. I had previously brought my Mazda in for service, at Mazda of course, with no additional charges than what was advertised. Otherwise service was good and timely. Will have to think about going back. Leased a vehicle from Arthur years ago and when I returned to trade in was met with one of the worst experiences in my life. Arthur was great and we finished discussing numbers and left it off tha returned to trade in was met with one of the worst experiences in my life. The sales manager Joseph Anthony ran over and snatched papers out of my hands and cursed me out and yelled and physically rushed me out of the showroom still yelling and cursing me out the entire way. I sent the general manager Timothy Koval an email to inform him of these antics and he responded that he will get to the bottom of this and get back to me. Never reached out again. Clearly they don’t care about their customers. I took my business to Huntsville AL - WOW - that was probably the BEST experience at a dealership. More
