This is the fourth vehicle I've bought from Downtown Subaru. the first used, then three new ones (unfortunately I totaled the 2nd one I bought from them with less than 500 miles on the car). Dealer advertised a price for an oil change and filter, which was higher than many places around. I have always taken my cars to the dealers as they would obviously be more familiar with the make. So in spite of the higher price, I went with Nashville Subaru. When I got the bill, they tacked on an additional “shop supply” charge of about 15%. I had just recently moved from out of state and had never heard of such a thing. I had previously brought my Mazda in for service, at Mazda of course, with no additional charges than what was advertised. Otherwise service was good and timely. Will have to think about going back. More

Leased a vehicle from Arthur years ago and when I returned to trade in was met with one of the worst experiences in my life. Arthur was great and we finished discussing numbers and left it off tha returned to trade in was met with one of the worst experiences in my life. The sales manager Joseph Anthony ran over and snatched papers out of my hands and cursed me out and yelled and physically rushed me out of the showroom still yelling and cursing me out the entire way. I sent the general manager Timothy Koval an email to inform him of these antics and he responded that he will get to the bottom of this and get back to me. Never reached out again. Clearly they don’t care about their customers. I took my business to Huntsville AL - WOW - that was probably the BEST experience at a dealership. More
The WORST experience ever! !!! I would give 0 star if possible!!! I purchased a Subaru Ascent with trading my corolla in at this dealership in November with Arthur Jones and Jo !!! I would give 0 star if possible!!! I purchased a Subaru Ascent with trading my corolla in at this dealership in November with Arthur Jones and Joseph Anthony. I double-checked with Arthur multiple times the license plate issue since it was my first time to trade-in. At the begini, I asked if he could transfer my corolla's license plate to the new Ascent since I have two adjacent license plate numbers (5390 and 5391). But he said NO and he will register a new license plate for my new Ascent. And I double checked with him several times. He said I will have a new tag, not the old one. Then he gave me a temp tag and kept my plate on corolla. However, I didn't receive a new plate. When I contacted him on Jan 18, he said he transferred the plate on my corolla to the new Ascent. WHAT ...??!!??!! But he didn't give me the plate from my corolla. At that time he said he will take full responsibility and set up the new plate soon. Last week, he asked me to register a new plate by myself... WHAT ...??!!??!! Are you kidding me??? What are you doing, man??? I felt I was cheated all the time. One more weird thing, they contacted me using different numbers. I called back to the exact same number (double-checked), the person said he is not the person...We all should be very careful about their traps... I figured one out before I signed. More
We bought our car August 2022, it took a month and 1/2 to get paperwork to get a tag and now I am dealing with the sales tax they added to my financing, and what I was actually charged. We purchased our Subaru over 3 weeks ago, Bob was our sales person and he was great( sad he has moved on). However we are out of state and our state still hasn’t gotten the information for us to get our sales person and he was great( sad he has moved on).
