This is the fourth vehicle I've bought from Downtown Subaru. the first used, then three new ones (unfortunately I totaled the 2nd one I bought from them with less than 500 miles on the car). Dealer advertised a price for an oil change and filter, which was higher than many places around. I have always taken my cars to the dealers as they would obviously be more familiar with the make. So in spite of the higher price, I went with Nashville Subaru. When I got the bill, they tacked on an additional “shop supply” charge of about 15%. I had just recently moved from out of state and had never heard of such a thing. I had previously brought my Mazda in for service, at Mazda of course, with no additional charges than what was advertised. Otherwise service was good and timely. Will have to think about going back.
