Edward W. Napleton, opened his first automotive business in 1931 on Chicago's South Side. With a $700 loan, a strong work ethic and a belief in common courtesy, he opened the Napleton Buick Service Station. Francis Napleton, Edward's son, was by his side to help foster the growth of the young business in its early years.
Napleton's first dealership was a DeSoto franchise, and when that brand was discontinued with little warning, Napleton quickly aligned itself with another Chrysler nameplate, Plymouth, eventually being awarded several additional franchises. Edward and Francis both believed in hard work and exceptional customer service, values that they passed down to the next generation of Napletons. Five of Francis' eight children have worked in the auto business their entire lives.
Edward F. ("Ed") Napleton, Francis' son, is a third-generation auto dealer. He began his career as a kid sweeping the floors at the dealership owned by his father and grandfather. He moved up the ranks, serving as a technician, then in sales and finance, and eventually as a general manager. At just 23 years of age, Ed became the youngest car dealer in the United States when he was awarded a Pontiac dealership in Blue Island, Illinois.
Today, the Ed Napleton Family operates more than 74 franchises in seven states. Taking pride in helping each community they live and work in, the Napleton Family name has become synonymous with excellence and teamwork. What started as a small family-owned business has blossomed into one of the most forward-thinking dealership groups in the country. Four of Ed's five children have proudly joined him in pursuing the family business and have a hand in the company's day-to-day operations.

Total rip offs. Bought a 2017 Elantra and was extremely ripped off. Paid $18000 with $10000 down and the car had been in Hurricane Ian. Took our Hyundai in for service and got to deal with Darek Kordes for the first time.Once I broke the ice with him,me being older than dirt and him being a wee bit younger,I soon realized he knew his st Darek Kordes for the first time.Once I broke the ice with him,me being older than dirt and him being a wee bit younger,I soon realized he knew his stuff and sounded like he would take care of our car,my wife and me very well.So,he did exactly what he said he would plus a few extra things which,truly made this visit go better than all the ones before since 2019 when we bought this Hyundai from Napleton.He did a super great job for us so we will look forward to seeing him many times in the future. I purchased the Santa fe 2023 model premium and it was mentioned by Adam that the car had all seasons floor mats. But when after i purchased the car the floor mats were not there. When I asked he told tha mentioned by Adam that the car had all seasons floor mats. But when after i purchased the car the floor mats were not there. When I asked he told that the floor mats was with Biege colour vehicle and not with black interior. Then he called and told me neither of it had. Now I had to spend $380 to get it. Though Adam tried his best to help me there is nothing he could do. Looks like(sales manager) removed things like these to reduce cost which I realised after purchasing. I blindly believed in them but I’m totally unsatisfied now. For a premium car to get the floor mats is basic thing.. I recommend Hyundai but I don’t recommend Napletom Hyundai aurora. More

Steer clear of this Dealership! They say one price for a repair and then it becomes significantly larger later.
