Bait and Switch!!!! Had a test drive set up, verified with Lizbeth via phone and email 4 hours before the scheduled test drive. I show up, and they can't find the car!!!! Had a test drive set up, verified with Lizbeth via phone and email 4 hours before the scheduled test drive. I show up, and they can't find the car!!!! How on earth does a car get misplaced at a dealership. They had no history of the vehicle being bought, but they had no idea where it was. But don't worry, they had older models with more miles for more money that they tried to sell me on.... BAIT AND SWITCH. Place is a giant cluster filled with un-welcoming staff that leave you standing on the sidewalk with your hands in your pockets. Will never be back. More
If you are thinking about buying a Dodge or Jeep, stay away from Napleton's Arlington Heights Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. They are old school bait and switchers, with the bait being internet adds and pricing away from Napleton's Arlington Heights Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. They are old school bait and switchers, with the bait being internet adds and pricing they have no intention of meeting, and the gamesmanship continues in the finance office, even if you force your their hand on the fraud game on the front end. RUN, don't walk from this place! Evidence: 1st pic - the bait, 2nd Pic - the attempt to charge me 53K, and even after I called them on the bait and switch, the Sales Manager offers to honor the price if I buy the Safety Package, 3rd Pic - the Safety Package pricing for reference. When I asked "so you are not going to sell me this car at your advertised price"? He said he couldn't do that, but could do it if I bought the Safety Package. I told him that he couldn't do this kind of thing, marketing (baiting) one price, and then switching the pricing when somebody comes in. They tried to claim the pricing included certain incentives you had to qualify for, like first responders, etc. (which we were); it had nothing to do with it! They show a 7K Napleton discount, and then the rebate incentive which is a documented $4250 from Chrysler, there was no other "asterisks" shown. When I again called them on it, he told me they all do it, referring to other dealers. That's where he is wrong. The others hide that "their price" includes rebates in them, and that much of the discount is not from them, and then they play from that deck when you arrive. These guys actually show you their supposed discount, and the mfg rebate seperate, and of course as a customer, you go to the dealer that is 50% better in discount - then then they attempt to pull it off the table. When I told them I was going to report this, and got up and left, they chased me to my car, and told me "Our GM will honor the price". So I foolishly went back in. 7 hours later, the finance guy takes another shot at getting me to sign the beginning paperwork without even seeing the bill of sale, or good faith estimate. When I tell him I am not signing anything until I see the numbers, he prints out the "deal sheet", and imagine this, the $2500 increase is back! His topline price is now 48K again, and when you take off the rebate, he is at about 45K, and of course, he is taxing me at the higher number. Almost worse than this, he comes at me with 5.9% for an interest rate - I haven't paid that in 20 years...I am a triple AAA for God's Sake. I remind him that I told the sales manager I was taking the .9 financing, and he begins the dance on the rebates, trying to claim they were mutually exclusive. When I asked him to provide me the terms that include those caveats, he attempts to "show me" - I told him to print them, he instead printed his finance doc with lose wording on the subject. These guys are borderline crooks. They played the same games with me 3 years ago, and if you check their reviews, you will see it repeated over and over...RUN TO ANOTHER DEALER! https://www.arlingtonheightscdjr.com/new/Jeep/2020-Jeep-Grand+Cherokee-a0ec11ba0a0e0ae8084f5a29f90116b6.htm More
I am very disappointed with the service. It's been 3 weeks and I still don't have my trade-in car paid off. I have had to make one payment already (on a trade-in). I don't even have the car anymore. I weeks and I still don't have my trade-in car paid off. I have had to make one payment already (on a trade-in). I don't even have the car anymore. I've never bought a car before with so many loose ends. They promised a second set of keys...I haven't seen it yet. They said they would give me a certain amount for my trade-in, they ripped me off. When you call in, you get transferred around, you get a voicemail, and never any assistance. I am very unsatisfied with this car dealership and I definitely will not be buying from here in the future. More
The pricing on their website is VERY deceitful. The price they list with dealer discounts is not what you’ll pay. They didn’t ask what I wanted just pushed what they wanted to sell. The manager wasn’t much b they list with dealer discounts is not what you’ll pay. They didn’t ask what I wanted just pushed what they wanted to sell. The manager wasn’t much better. I overheard two other conversations while I was there beCause you wait a lot and I could hear other sales folks getting yelled at. Go elsewhere. More
Alyssa was an amazing saleswoman! She guided me through the entire process and introduced me to the service advisor as well for when I come back. I met Andrew also, who's the General Manager. He was very p the entire process and introduced me to the service advisor as well for when I come back. I met Andrew also, who's the General Manager. He was very professional and helpful, which I appreciate especially during these times. Everyone was very kind, but I'm mainly blown away with the Grand Cherokee I purchased. Lightly used, great warranty, great deal. Thanks Napleton! More

Terrible Customer Service by Sales Management and staff. They don't return phone calls. I have left several voicemails and called numerous times but Andrew and the salesman Simon are avoiding me. If they They don't return phone calls. I have left several voicemails and called numerous times but Andrew and the salesman Simon are avoiding me. If they couldn't deliver what they promised me is one thing but not having the basic customer service skill of returning phone calls is what infuriates me the most. I could go on longer on how unprofessional Andrew and Simon are but that would deter from the point I'm trying to make from this review. If you want to retain a customer or a make a new customer, you need to have good customer service. This dealership and this manager specifically do not have it. More
We found a car we were interested in purchasing if upfront. We live about an hour away, was recommended to this place. It was a bit out of our price was and was told over the phone they would drop it upfront. We live about an hour away, was recommended to this place. It was a bit out of our price was and was told over the phone they would drop it down and we had no worries. Fast forward driving an hour there. We were told the price was firm and we were thrown out of their store. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Called again today twice and the first person said they could get the price down and then another person said that we're asking for is fair but they can't do it. The car had two dents and multiple scratches. And the stereo didn't work too. Keep in mind I'm 18 years old looking to buy my first car for a high price and was offering to pay the original price including tax title and license and was still denied. Horrible service and communication, no one ever go here. I definitely do not recommend. They lie to get you to come in and persuade you to buy you a car for an asking price that isn't reasonable. Don't come here unless you want a snotty dealership to try to take all your money. They've called me a liar are completely ignorant to negotiation. Also trying to get us to spend over 9k during a pandemic where many people have a hard time with money! HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP More
Not impressed with customer service. My husband is in the market for a new truck. We found one on Car Gurus that he was interested in. I read reviews on the dealership to make sure they were reputable before market for a new truck. We found one on Car Gurus that he was interested in. I read reviews on the dealership to make sure they were reputable before driving 4 hours to look at the truck. Upon noticing many unfavorable reviews, I advised my husband to call the dealership to inquire about 'hidden fees" and price changes (many consumers complained about a $1495.00 hidden dealer fee). He spoke with Charne who advised him that she could not disclose price of vehicle. She also said there were several pending offers on the truck. Interesting since the truck has been for sale for 28 days, and the day we call there are several pending offers. Are we buying a house or a truck? We asked her to call back tomorrow with an update on the "several pending offers". We shall see. I will update my review.... Update...we had called and talked to Sharne on a Wednesday. On Thursday, we did get a phone call from mason. My husband and mason played phone tag in the morning. My husband was finally able to speak to him about 10am. We shared our concerns on speaker phone about availability and hidden fees. Mason assured us the truck was available. I explained my husband was taking 1/2 day off from work and we were driving 4 1/2 hours to buy it. We discussed fees. There is a $1500 dealer fee and a $2500 certified preowned fee. Mason was upfront with those. We negotiated price of truck before we left town. We agreed to drop the dealer fee and agreed on a selling price. We texted with mason a few times on our way to Chicago. At one point on our drive to Chicago, mason texted and said he was done for the day, but any salesman could help us when we arrived. About a half an hour later, he texted and said, “never mind, I’ll be here. Just ask for me upon arrival.” Well.....we arrived and he came out with a couple sets of keys in his hand and explained to us that the truck we just drove 4 1/2 hours for and texted about had SOLD! OMG! Are you kidding me! My poor husband actually thought he was kidding. I was waiting for him to say, “just kidding!” Nope! They sold it! I was livid because this was exactly what all the reviews said they did. Mason said they don’t hold vehicles. Okay, then tell us that. Or call us on the road and tell us, so we can turn around. Plus, you don’t buy a vehicle and drive it off the lot in 30 minutes. There is a process! It takes time! So...long story short...mason offered my husband a different truck for same price. It was not the color he had wanted originally, but we did purchase it. The truck is nice and my husband is happy with it. Mason was apologetic of the situation. He was a nice kid. He had to put up with me and my temper tantrum. I was probably more angry with myself for reading the negative reviews and and still driving to this dealership. I was fairly warned. Now...finance guy, Doug. He needs a New job. Unfriendliest sole I have ever dealt with. In 2020 we have purchased a camper and 2 vehicles, so we know what we are doing. I wouldn’t sign the contract until I saw the numbers. He said, “they are on the last page”. I told him, “not a problem, let’s pull out the last page.” Good thing I did. There was a $750 dealer fee added. I disputed it. He argued it. We refused to pay it. We had our arrangement worked out with mason in advance. Doug had to redo the contract. It took a whole 5 minutes to reprint. His attitude got even worse after this episode. All in all, I wouldn’t make a long drive to do business here. If local, sure, they have good cars. Mason is a good kid that sadly saw my wrath of disappointment. I would ask for a different finance guy. I would not sit in a room with Doug and go through the paperwork again. More
