Waited a month for an appointment, My wife took off work to make this appointment. We came early, They took the car into the overcrowded bay, We waited about 45 minutes, then was approached by an employee informing me that they did not have the parts in stock, they would have to reschedule the appointment. After returning home, I was waxing the car, and discovered they had dinged my driver side passenger door. I informed the dealership what had happened, and now they want to play phone tag. Purchased a 2018 Hyundai Sonata problems with the paint job two times took some time to get it fixed but they did get it fixed to my satisfaction now all the warning lights for the brake system has came on job two times took some time to get it fixed but they did get it fixed to my satisfaction now all the warning lights for the brake system has came on like five different lights did not feel comfortable driving it dropped it off on Tuesday 19 April they said they would try to squeeze it in it is now 26 April I have not called them but I have not heard nothing about my car when I bought the car I put the extended warranty on it through their dealership and was told what a great deal it would be I would pay a little more because they are a small dealership and I did pay more but eight days and still have not heard anything More

After failing repeatedly to deal with Hyundai in Wilmington, Nc we went to Myrtle and never left. Now in 2022, no longer needing my truck to tow a RV, I bought a Palisade. Couldn't be more pleased! One thing though is false advertising! The projected MPG on the stickers is consistently wrong, you see, over the years I have found Hyundai claims impressive fuel economy. On every Hyundai we have had since 2005 the actual fuel economy impressively EXCEEDS STICKER VALUES. My New Palisade is averaging 25-27 in town. Just recorded 30.4 on a ride yesterday average speed 35-50 mph. One last note. Matthew Durn is an exceptional sales person. His demeanor reflects Myrtle Beach Hyundai! Wife loves her Sonatas but the Palisade head and shoulders for comfort and roomiess. Steve Smith, Bolivia, NC More
Once again Brooke has made my day. They were obviously shorthanded, very backed up, and very busy. Brooke kept a smile on his face, and gave sincere apologies and regrets for my wait. Took my car in for service, By far the worst customer service department I have ever walked in to - rude, loud and they treat you as if they could care less whether you stayed or took your car elsewhere service department I have ever walked in to - rude, loud and they treat you as if they could care less whether you stayed or took your car elsewhere - I’m taking my Hyundai 55 miles from it of town to the next closest dealer - I’d drive 2-3 hours out of town to service my Hyundai than deal with the unprofessional service staff they have there - all of my ranting is after being treated like this for the SECOND TIME - never again. There is a reason why they’re rated 2 1/2 stars rated #11 out of the 12 Hyundai dealerships in SC - beware before taking your car there for service - read the reviews , 500 bad reviews can’t all be lying. Took my 2021 Tucson in for service ( oil chance , tire rotation) week and a half later my tire pressure light comes on after they told me they rotated my tires and checked the air in them .
