We were very impressed with our whole experience at Mountain States. We spoke with Jason on the phone and knew ahead of time that the car we wanted was in stock, the pricing,and the financial options Mountain States. Jim was professional, knowledgable, and very nice. He made sure we were comfortable during the whole transaction, explaining everything in detail. After the purchase was completed he made sure that both of us knew how to operate everything in our new truck. He and Katie even made sure our phones were connected and that our Bluetooth would play Pandora. Justin Radlick, the Finance Manager, was great. He also made sure we knew everything that was happening. He had everything organized and prepared, making us feel very comfortable. He was very knowledgable and had a great personality. Fast, easy transaction. Found the Toyota Sequoia online, came in Saturday afternoon to see it and drive it, made an easy transaction. I visited several dealerships when looking for a used Toyota Tacoma (Stevinson West, Groove Toyota, as well as some non Toyota dealerships) and found the facility and folks at Mountain States to be the b Toyota Tacoma (Stevinson West, Groove Toyota, as well as some non Toyota dealerships) and found the facility and folks at Mountain States to be the best. Their selection was far superior to the others; they had vehicles in several price ranges of various qualities. All of the vehicles I looked at had Carfaxes which helped my wife and I make our choice. The inside of their facility was spacious and not cramped like Groove. A great bonus is that they are dog friendly, and will not only invite your dog in, but also bring him a water bowl and treats. I started working with John Saldivar who was fantastic. He had the answers to most of my questions, and found answers to those that he didn't know off the top of his head. He wasn't pushy like many car salesmen can be. I felt like he was candid with me regarding the condition and pricing of their vehicles. When I returned a couple days later with my wife, John met with me and explained that he had two customers that arrived at the same time, and that his friend and co-worker Patrick Ericsson would be assisting us, who was every bit as great as John. John still stopped in on us to make sure Pat was taking good care of us. Pat has worked with Toyota for 16 years and it showed. He was great at explaining everything we wished to know and was a pleasure to work with. To top it all off, Robert Marsik, the finance manager was phenomenal and made certain that we understood everything before signing. At Mountain States Toyota, Salesman Yaz and Finance Mgr. Chip were very friendly and helpful. Yaz was so great to work with and I walked out feeling like I had know him personally for a long time. Everyone else there that I happened to run across were also very friendly and helpful. I generally hate dealing with Dealerships but this was by far the best experience that I have had. The clear difference to me is that Mountain States is not commission- based. This removes the pressure to "make a sale" and directly translates to better, friendlier customer service. I will continue to deal with Mountain States Toyota and eagerly recommend them to anyone else. The only "bump" was with the financing process. I'm not sure I understand how you can approve and settle a "deal", drive off the lot with a vehicle and then over a week later the bank is unclear on income issues and asks for proof of income from me and my wife. If all this was completed prior to driving off the lot it would make things much better. It is very unsettling to be driving the new vehicle for over a week and then it appears the bank might not approve the financing and take back the vehicle. More
