We have been looking for an alternative to a mini van since we found out a baby boy was going to be in our lives. Our budget was average but we desired alot more (Of course your avg. Consumer). After being on the hunt for 9 months and not finding a solution after our baby was born and having looming medical bills we thought that there was no way we could possibly purchase something we wanted let alone needed. After dealing with some priorities we worked out a new budget and found ourselves looking into Mountain States Toyota and GO Chevrolet. I made this selection after spending way to much time on auto trader and cars, com finding random vehicles that I thought were awesome and having terrible experiences with Shady Dealerships, Misleading reports online across the board, even car fax is a great tool but doesn't tell you about wierd salesman and bad test drives. I was ready to turn my work truck into an suv after 9 months. I made a smart decision and decided to research the DEALERSHIP INSTEAD OF THE CAR. Online I kept reading the great reviews about the dealerships the customer service and found two vehicles I had already extensively grinded over for nine months. Each Dealer had one at the bottom of our budget and one that we wanted at the tippy top of our monthly allowance. So let's go scout it out I worked with Clayton Who was awesome and very accomodating and showed me being a new dad a thing or two about car seats(much appreciated) after test drivng the car at the bottom of budget and not hating it but not loving it We asked to see what we really wanted Clayton said, "I have something better" And showed us exactly what we wanted but It was a much better option than I had researched way nicer than anticipated and not exactly within our striking distance. "Unless You trade in your truck", my wife said. Which always tasted bad when brought up since I really love my Truck. I told Clayton of Course we love this one but we can't afford it and I have to shop around. Clayton gave me what he called a deal for both cars I viewed that day. I am still shocked that he got me the price I needed without even stepping foot in the dealership almost as if it was his car Awesome Product Knowledge and he never hesitated the whole time or lied to me about specs or deals or what sucked and what he thought would work for my FAMILY. That scored huge points with me Since I am a salesman in a different Industry and car shopping for 9 months I have been lied to and held hostage by clueless idiots. Clayton was a breath of fresh air and very REAL and overeager to make things happen. I slept on the decision because I had to trade in the truck. Because my wife really found it illogical to have 2 huge cars. I know WTF. However I got pre approved overnight and Spoke with Matt over the phone and we were good to go with no trade and I can keep my truck. No dice we are going into the dealership still asking for them to budge a whole lot to make this work and so the truck must go. So this time we actually walk into the dealership expecting a certain int.rate, monthly pymnt, and bottom number and although we were excited my truck had to be the deciding factor which left me knowing this was mission impossible. And Clayton had the day off. So Matt (who was absolutely awesome gathering info and doing all of the footwork over the phone) Asked us to have a seat. This would be my only negative comment and that is we were handed to some random salesperson who insulted us by asking if we have ever financed a car because he isn't confident that we know what we we're doing along with insulting my beloved truck the whole time making me feel like I am wasting my time. Oh boy here we go again another wierd car salesman another wierd dealership and more headaches where is Clayton!?!?! After 5 minutes of him trying to sell me a Rav 4 Which sounded awesome for his daughter and a nightmare for us I was beyond mad frustrated angry, I was leaving on fire and he had to stop us and bring us to Jason the Sales manager. I could tell that the particular salesman was trying to help but he did'nt know how to talk to us and came across the wrong way and ticked me off. Jason apologized and most importantly heard me out and LISTENED and Introduced me to John who actually let me test drive the car I wanted to see answered all of my questions as if Clayton were around AWESOME finally getting somewhere. We get back to the dealership Jason has The Bottom Number The Monthy Pymnt The Int rate all reflecting exactly what I wanted it to say. I almost cried. This car was not even in our sights until Clayton showed it to us while it was still being detailed, Matt dealing with me bugging him on the phone and still killing all of the boring stuff, John giving us an informative test drive and answering all of our questions to the T. And Then Jason Giving me exactly what I needed on paper WOW WOW WOW WOW I am still staring at my dream car and can't believe this deal. More
The process of buying a car is one of my least favorite sales experiences, but buying this car was a pleasure. Doan Vu, the dealer we worked with, was honest and straightforward and really made the whole sales experiences, but buying this car was a pleasure. The next time I am looking to buy a car, he will be the first person I call. More
Everything was great. Test drive was perfect... Sales rep was awesome. Only issue was price. We came in not wanting to go over $400. We left with a $500 per month payment. Little more than we wanted but over was awesome. Only issue was price. We came in not wanting to go over $400. We left with a $500 per month payment. Little more than we wanted but overall satisfied. Found the truck that I was interested in online, and created an online chat with an operator, who was able to tell me the truck I was interested in was on the lot, and put me in touch with a sales repre created an online chat with an operator, who was able to tell me the truck I was interested in was on the lot, and put me in touch with a sales representative. We drove three hours from the western slope to Denver, met with our salesman at ten in the morning, and was walking out the door with our new vehicle at two in the afternoon. Very quick and wonderful experience. Everybody was friendly and accomodating to our whole family, even our dog that traveled with us. Special thanks to Doug and Matt M. for making this an easy process. If I ever buy another Toyota, I will be back. More
Our overall experience with Mountain states was wonderful and they made the whole process seamless. We came to the dealership to look at used Tundra’s and they had a huge selection of them. In some circles I would be considered elderly at 68, but I don't feel that way. The point of that statement is to convey that I have bought several vehicles during my life. My wife had a '98 Camry that we I don't feel that way. The point of that statement is to convey that I have bought several vehicles during my life. My wife had a '98 Camry that we had planned on replacing in '09, just shortly before I got laid off from my job. She had saved up enough money to replace it, but we felt we needed to wait, due to the economy, which we did. While the economy isn't what it used to be, we felt is was good enough that we could now take the plunge and replace it. Historically, going through the car buying process, and dealing with a car salesman, would rank below getting a root canal, or a limb amputated...both being the preferred experience. To make a long story short(er), we were in the market for a 2012 Camry and through an internet inquiry landed at Mountain States Toyota in Denver. In my long and storied history as a car buyer, this purchase was the most positive of any prior to this one. There were a couple of minor hiccups in the process, the details of which are not important, but our Sales Consultant Jason Crouse and Customer Relations Manager Trena Segura demonstrated what customer satisfaction is all about, they didn't just talk about customer satisfaction, their "actions speak louder than words", unlike some dealers. If you are looking for a new Toyota, or possibly a previously owned vehicle, you need to give Mountain States Toyota a chance to not only give you the best financial deal, but a positive car buying experience as well.
