I stopped by Mountain States Toyota last Saturday to look at the new 2014 Tundras and we were met by Ray Saccomano. He showed my wife and I their inventory and explained a little to me about the changes for at the new 2014 Tundras and we were met by Ray Saccomano. He showed my wife and I their inventory and explained a little to me about the changes for the new model (I had researched them extensively on line so he didn't have to tell me too much). He was very helpful and pleasant and when I told him we were going to lunch with friends, he said, "Just give me a shout if you have any other questions." We went outside and saw another couple looking at the truck so I asked Ray how quickly he could take a deposit! He grabbed some info from me and held the truck until that night. We came back in the evening and everything was basically ready for us to go. Ray negotiated a very fair price and threw in some great extras and I love the new truck. All in all, I couldn't ask for a more pleasant car buying experience. More
Please avoid this dealer at all costs. Very rude and unwilling to make things right with their customers. Steve White was wonderful to work with, very thorough, caring, and knowledgable. He had many personal interests in common with us, so it felt like an instant friendship was formed! We were introduced to Mountain States Toyota through Costco's Auto Buying Program. Jason Scott Barnes was our primary point-of-contact throughout the entire experience. Ray Saccomano was our sales per Costco's Auto Buying Program. Jason Scott Barnes was our primary point-of-contact throughout the entire experience. Ray Saccomano was our sales person and Robert Grzeca was the Finance Director (who did all of the paperwork to close the transaction). Our needs for a 2013 Toyota Venza were quite specific (no moonroof, for example). Jason determined that Mtn States Toyota did not have the allocation to have our Venza built. But he researched available build platforms at several other dealers across the US, and found another dealership that was willing to trade a build allocation for our Venza with one that Mtn States had for a vehicle they needed. All of this took four months, and Jason was diligent in making sure we were kept informed of the progress of the build - date of expected delivery, options that were to be added to the build request, for example. On the day of delivery, Ray Saccomano led us through the paperwork flow, and a tour of the vehicle to ensure that we knew all that was needed to operate our new car safely. The car was immaculate and was just as we had ordered it. Ray even got us a lunch as we were in the queque for meeting with the Finance Director, Robert Grzeca. What sometimes can be a very pressured process - urging purchase of extra warranties, paint protection, etc - was a non-issue. Robert got us through the paperwork signing in short order, and we were on our way in no time. As we were preparing to leave, Ray presented us with a Mountain States Toyota 'goody bag', containing an insulated cup, a set of key rings, a pen and a recycling sack as momentos of thanks for choosing their dealership. In both the larger issue of buying a vehicle, and also in the little things, we commend Mountain States Toyota, and particularly Jason, Ray, and Robert, for their professionalism and genuine customer service. We'll be back next Spring for a 2104 Toyota Prius C Level 4!!! Michael and Maureen Pickell, Breckenridge, Colorado More
Sean Kramer is the worst car salesman I have ever dealt with. After waiting for a car for nearly two weeks after we were told it would arrive, the dealership offered us $200 for our trouble, leaving us pay with. After waiting for a car for nearly two weeks after we were told it would arrive, the dealership offered us $200 for our trouble, leaving us paying $200 over invoice. We asked to pay invoice (that the dealership eat the additional $200 for nearly two weeks of inconveniencing us). They said no. We pressed and said they had been dishonest about the arrival and the least they could do was give us that money off. Sean Kramer completely lost his temper and told us that he preferred not to do business with us, that we should "go our separate ways." Essentially, a sales manager had a tantrum and preferred not to make a sale than sit and discuss an issue like and adult. He literally stormed out of the room and away from us, without even saying anything. The salesman who was assisting tried to make the situation better and negotiate the cost down by $100, but Sean wouldn't allow it. He refused the business completely. I can't believe that after all the frustration they caused for us, a sales manager lost his cool and a sale, and treated us the way he did. I will NEVER go there again and will tell everyone who will listen about this situation. More

I purchased a vehicle at Mountain State and had nothing but issues from day one. I bought the car and was told my the sales person that I would be receiving 3 month of free xm radio, did not happen. I th but issues from day one. I bought the car and was told my the sales person that I would be receiving 3 month of free xm radio, did not happen. I then asked a service tech how to remove my door panel in order to put some new speakers into my brand new Rav 4, he told me most of what I needed to remove but failed to mention the three most important screws that needed to be removed and I broke the door panel. I spoke with Tim about chips of paint coming on the front end of my vehicle and he told me that was normall and he would sell me a clear bra at cost for just $200 plus tax. I talked to an outside source and informed me that $200 was in no way their cost, thanks Tim for nothing. More

I recently purchased a 2013 Tacoma that I absolutely fell in love with. I have never ever owned a new vehicle in my life and was so excited to get this brand new showroom floor truck. Oh how I love my new truck and was signing all the papers and was talked in to getting the extended warranty with it, which sounded like a great deal. Comes with enviro shield for the exterior, resist all for the interior, plus 6 yrs extended maintenance. WOW....what a deal, until I got the enviroguard and resist all done on my truck, if they even did it. First off, long story short, I have been back and forth to the dealer 4 times because of the screw up that they all admit to, but don't want to fix. They only pass the buck each time I speak to someone about it. The enviroguard that goes on the exterior of the truck, I was told that it would protect the truck from bird poo, scratches, and acid rain......well, every time you touch the truck, even with your finger, it surface scratches. They tell me that's due to it being a black truck...hmmm REALLY???? Next the resist all (like a scotch guard) was sprayed on the interior to resist stains on the seats and floors. Once again, did they really do it?? I pick up the truck that afternoon after 2-3 hrs of them "doing the work" to find my seats were soaking wet and a huge stain on my back seat. I called them up and told them and they had me bring it back to "redo" the work. They kept it all day and even over night for me to drive all the way back down and pick up the truck to find the same stain again, but this time its even worse, plus if even water touches the seats, it stains it really bad. What is up with that?? The third trip in, I speak to the service manager, Jeff, who proceeds to tell me its a pre-owned vehicle, or that it is my fault and "What did I do to the seats?" REALLY??? You are blaming me when its not even a 3 week old truck, brand new, 6 miles on it when I purchased it and no one or nothing has even touched the back seat. Then he proceeds to tell me how to wipe up spills when they happen....What am I....5 years old???? Then he passes the buck stating that I need to file a claim, even though his tech admitted that they screwed up. Hmmm, what now?? Finally the fourth trip down, we speak to a manager by the name of Matt Marr...who looked at the stain, rubbed his chin and kept saying..."hmmm" the whole time. Then again, I was told to file a claim because it is not Toyota's fault. I couldn't take it anymore, so I brought in the "big guns", my fiancé. He contacted the GM, Tim Van Binbergen and left him messages about what is going on and how we want it fixed and how we were treated by his staff. Absolutely uncalled for and very unnecessary to blame us for THEIR mistakes. As of now, we are awaiting to find out what exactly they are going to do about this. We will update as we find out. So far, very very unhappy with the way that I have been treated and how they pass the buck from one person to the next. Hopefully it will get resolved and I can be happy once again with the purchase of my new Tacoma. 06/10/2013 I am changing this star rating back down to a one star because it will not let me do a ZERO or NO STAR rating because that is what they truly deserve. Well we finally got a response from Tim Van Binbergen about my truck. He was very helpful and apologetic for the way his staff treated us in blaming us for the damage THEY did to my seats. He has offered to replace the seats completely and refunded all money for the damage caused. If they complete all that they stated, I will be willing to bump up the stars......all we can do is wait and see.... 06/26/2013 Well we have been treated unfairly, poorly, blamed and now accused of blackmail through this dealership and it has all been a serious headache and stress. I am tired of their front and accusations that I have been accused of. I am giving this dealership a total big fat ZERO because of all they have done. I have had nothing but trouble with them and I will NEVER go through Mountain States Toyota for ANYTHING ever again. I will never recommend them to anyone. Bad news travels faster than good news and right now and always it will be bad news for them. The service department is horrible, and now we can add the General manager to this list as well. He is all nice to your face and tells you that he will help you in all ways, but then he turns and accuses you of blackmail and threatens his lawyer???? Really, are you kidding me?? I simply asked for help fixing my truck that they damaged, ok finally after 4 months, they did that and to what surprise, they damaged the tint on my vehicle. They state they will pay for it, but only $100 towards it....wow when I paid a lot of money to get it all done. I also asked for them to help pay for scotch guarding my truck since I will not get that awful resist all resprayed in my truck and they totally refuse. Here is a copy of the email that they GM sent me and how really two faced they can be... No I will not give you a check for $1500.00. This is outrageous. I will fix the tint and it ends there. It is not fair and frankly it is blackmail to hold me hostage for a five star rating on Yelp. I have helped you. We made a mistake and we fixed it. I am more than disappointed in your request. The dollar amount I will give you to fix the window is $100.00 which is more than generous. I am forwarding this to my attorney as well. Tim Van Binsbergen General Manager timothy.vanbinsbergen@mountainstatestoyota.com 303-210-2457 -cell Not once did I say I was holding them hostage for a five star rating, but simply stating that I would give them a five star rating for the services that they have earned. And quite honestly, they have earned a big ZERO star rating from me and my Fiance who also bought a brand new vehicle from them as well within the same month that I bought mine. Yes, they made mistakes and have fixed them, but every time I take the truck to them, they continue to make mistakes. All I am simply asking is for them to help by getting the truck taken care of, so there will not be any further mistakes and for all the trouble, time and inconvenience that I have been through the last 4 months. If you look up the term Blackmail in the dictionary, this is nothing that I have stated at all or ever. Tim Van Binsbergen is the one that is robbing me and I will be contacting Arbitration regarding this dealership and also contacting the National Automobile Dealership Association, Toyota Dealer Associations, and the Better Business Bureau regarding this issue that I have had. I'm sorry, but they have hurt and treated me totally unfair, poorly, and accused me of way to much and I will and should not stand for this. I know the law and I know my rights and this is UNFAIR to be treated like this. More
