Didn't seem to make any difference. Had appointments with sales person, who never showed up. The last time I was there (The place was not busy at all) The sales girl went to check with management on something, never came back, sent a different sales guy to help me out. Gave me some xx excuse why she could not return. I would't spend a dime there and will not ever go back. Still without a car, but will find one elsewhere. More
Financing portion of transaction took WAY too long. We communicated that time was limited, but felt that request was ignored. We expressed a preference for paying cash, so it was very unreasonable. Very disappointing. Was working with a salesperson who said they were going to run the car out to us to have us test drive, after I told him we were very interested. We had finalized price and discussed how I was going to pay them cash. He got tied up with a customer all day and didn't make it out to us. (Let's see, maybe find someone else in the dealership that isn't doing anything and have them run it out to us.) That same night, the car gets sold out from under us. I had asked about putting down a deposit, but another gentlemen that I spoke to said, no that we had to look at the car before they'd accept a down payment. How about first, going to the first customer that was interested (me) and saying that they had another interested party and that I would have to put a non-refundable deposit down sight unseen, if I wanted the car. Communications across their sales group is obviously not good. Huge disappointment after spending a lot of time searching for this car. And of course they have nothing else comparable to offer us. I had my Hyundai Tucson serviced at the Morries on 394 in St. Louis Park, MN. recently The service rep. told me my car would be available later that day. She then called and said it wouldn't be ready to pick up the same day but said it would definitely be ready the next day. I returned the next day, and it wasn't ready. It wasn't ready the next day either. Nobody called to tell me it would not be ready. I called and left message with the service manager 2x and she never called back or messaged me in any way. I'm very unhappy with this experience! Very poor customer service. I will go elsewhere! More
I had my 2018 Santa Fe diagnosed at Bay Hyundai in Panama City as the camera wasn’t working. They diagnosed I needed a new camera and charged me $196. I had to return to MN prior to the camera being avail City as the camera wasn’t working. They diagnosed I needed a new camera and charged me $196. I had to return to MN prior to the camera being available. I asked MY CAR GUY in Shorewood to order the part from you and install it. Turns out BAY was wrong, it was a bad wire in the harness. They asked you if they could return the camera and you refused. Now I’m stuck with a camera and still need to order the harness. Can you help? I came in for a minor recall. When done,checking my car the service.woman quickly gave me paperwork which included some estimates for service work and a check sheet which noted. NOTHING was SAID to me ABOUT MY OIL BEING DOWN PAST LOW. I happened to have an appointment to get the oil changed and I drove right there. The other service people ALSO COULD NOT BELIEVE that Morrie’s purposefully made NO attempt to verbally TELL ME NOT TO LEAVE UNTIL THERE WAS OIL ADDED.!!?? I could have ruined the engine. Was this an anterior motive ?? Because they are having troubles with this model?? VERY VERY POOR customer service. I WILL NEVER TRIST MORRIES TO SERVICE. MY CARS, nor will I trust what they tell me. I DOUBT I will ever buy a car from Morrie’s after this mistrusting experience. More
As per my usual car buying experience, car salesmen are your "friend." But when it comes time to hash out the add-ons and it's time to speak to the finance department... run. Why do I need to talk to your finance guy? Why do you, as in all car dealerships, hire the biggest xxxxxxx for finance? You've, as in Morrie's, adopted a no-negotiation price but still use old-school high-pressure tactics to push crap nobody wants or needs. Which then means they by definition need to make their commission. My finance guy ruined the whole experience, to the point if he's still working there when it comes time to buy another, I won't come to you. Jim was my salesman and went above and beyond. Whether forced or by choice, you let him go. Now, I have 0 interest in going back to Morrie's. More
This was the best sales experience I've had at a dealership. Our sales rep Morgan was genuine and friendly without being pushy and the finance guy was efficient and cordial. Also Paris, the service advisor was very cool and concerned that everything was done right. They all REALLY knew their stuff. I had all my questions answered thoroughly, and if they didn't know right away, they were great at getting me answers promptly. My only gripe was when I took my new car back in for add-on packages. They moved EVERYTHING, including electronic settings, out of position so far that it seemed intentional. There was no attempt to return anything back to a semi normal state and there was no reason to change our computer settings. Also we never received that tank of gas that was promised. Despite that, I'd easily come back to Morrie's for another car. More
