Used car inspection. I was considering buying a used Ford truck from a private seller so I shopped around for a used car inspection. Hodges Ford was the only place that described the type of thorough inspection I wanted and after having it done by then I was very pleased. Their inspection covered all of the concerns I had. It revealed that despite looking and driving pretty well for a truck of that age with relatively low mileage, there were multiple serious issues that would soon need to be addressed. Jarrett the technician was very helpful and spent time with me explaining the report and giving advice as to which issues would need addressing in the immediate future. They saved me from making a serious mistake. More

Car trouble I was traveling from NC to FL when I experienced car trouble. Luck would have it I got off at the very exit where Hodges Ford was located. Not only did they help me in a timely manner but didn't charge me for the service provided. Clean waiting area also. Great folk. If I lived hereby they would be my go to people. Thanks again for helping me so quickly so I was able to make my way to Jacksonville on time. More
Very Poor Communication Had to have my car towed here for a field service action the evening before a holiday and with a hurricane approaching. Was not able to get a loaner o Had to have my car towed here for a field service action the evening before a holiday and with a hurricane approaching. Was not able to get a loaner on Labor day because the was no one there that day that was able to do that. So I had to rent a car to evacuate the area and return home almost 5 hours south to my family. They were closed the next two days for the hurricane, and reopened on Thursday. I called and spoke to someone in service that let me know that the part for my vehicle came in and they were working on it. No time line was given. I had to return the rental car, so I told them I would be heading up in the morning. I was not advised to wait. I called for the courtesy vehicle to pick me up from the car rental place, and this is when I am informed that they do not know when my car will be ready. At this point, I am stranded in another state with no means to get home. I had to get transferred around the dealership before I was finally allowed to speak to the GM who told me he would have a courtesy car pick me up, and he would speak to the technician to get a timeline on my repair. The courtesy car picked me up, and when I got to the dealership I was provided with a loaner car and was told they were working on my car, it might be ready that day, or the next day (Saturday), or could take as long as Monday to complete the repair. He promised to call me with a firmer estimate so I would know if I had to rent a hotel room or what. I go off with the loaner car and wait to hear from the GM. Hours go by and I have no phone call and it is nearing the end of the day, so I went back to the dealership for a status report. The GM informs me that he still doesn't have a firm timeline, but he thinks it will be ready at the end of the day because he saw it on the alignment rack. So I go to the service department to wait for my vehicle. At the end of the day I am told my car is ready, and as they are handing me the keys they inform me that three out of the four tires are going bad and they don't recommend driving on them. I feel like this is something that should have been communicated earlier in the day so I could have made a decision then instead of scrambling to get tires so that I could get back home to Florida. Not happy with the lack of communication, especially since I wasn't coming from right down the road. More
