I would give them a zero if possible. Sorry I didn't review the dealership with the same diligence I reviewed the vehicle. Was so happy with the experience--at first. And since we already had a Ford diesel, we were happy to find a "good dealership" for future service. Wrong! Purchased the used truck on 8/2/21, so pleased with it. $25,000. Ordered running boards and installed them on 8/7 so I could start using it for work on Monday. Drove great that morning and the transmission went out that afternoon. I had only put 55 miles on it! Won't return phone calls. They had to know the transmission had issues. Yes we bought 'as is', but this is ridiculous. Was hoping the dealership would at least help diagnose the problem so we would know where to go from here. The salesman won't call back, the general manager won't call back, the owner won't call back... BE WARNED! These guys are not reliable and do not have any sort of customer service after the sale. So very discouraging. 8/12/21 I am relieved and pleased to report that since posting a negative review yesterday, we had contact from the General Manager. We have taken the truck in for diagnostics. The shop manager, Joe, actually knew what the problem is without having to drive the truck or put it on the computer. He is going to call us when he finds out if and when the parts will be available. Will update the review further with disposition. I have to say that the service dept was very friendly and professional, and I am greatly encouraged. Will post with resolution and hopefully higher ratings. More
DO NOT buy a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from this dealership. They don’t actually do what is required by Ford Motor Company for the certification process, and also do not care about anything after t dealership. The service department was great. They did great work and completed it early. The sales department in the other hand tried to take advantage of me because they thought I was in a bad situation being dron completed it early. I would highly recommend the service department but the sales not so much. My service rep was Chris and he is not listed below but was very up front and helped us in any and every way he could. More
After making a last minute appointment with a very courteous service advisor, I brought my Explorer to Hodges the next morning and was warmly greeted and assured the fix would be promptly handled. This turned into a disaster. While at first the sales people were very friendly and helpful, once the deal closed all promises went to naught. I’m still waiting for accessories that were promised and the truck was NEVER detailed before I picked it up. The tire pressure was 20 psi low per tire, the steering wheel was sticky and the oil was not changed. Phone calls are not returned. While I have lived their service department, buy your vehicle somewhere else if you expect to be treated fairly by sales. I was sent an email by Hodges asking me to review them but to call the general manager if I wasn’t happy. I tried to but again no call returned and no fair treatment. More
