I tried for over a year to get midtown kia to fix my car. The vehicle had a factory recall and Kia said they were going to do a goodwill case and fix the vehicle. Midtown says Kia Corp changed their mind and The vehicle had a factory recall and Kia said they were going to do a goodwill case and fix the vehicle. Midtown says Kia Corp changed their mind and refused to fix it. After awhile I decided to just trade the old Kia with the catastrophic engine failure in. We bought a brand new Kia sportage from midtown. Within a week my old Kia was posted online for sale. Why couldn't they fix it for me but after I traded it in they were remarkably able to get it done. Seems fishy. More
My passenger side door was missing three bolts. The door was not latching properly. This became more and more noticeable over the course of about a week. I brought it to the attention of the dealer The door was not latching properly. This became more and more noticeable over the course of about a week. I brought it to the attention of the dealership, who refused to take any actual accountability. When my check engine light came on within ten days of purchase, I was told to keep driving it unless the light started blinking because they wouldn't be able to get to it for two weeks. I was told by Midtown Kia that there was no reason for the light to come on, but my mechanic informed me the vehicle has an issue with a small emissions leak. Basically, I feel lied to and beyond disrespected. I will never recommend this business, nor will I allow them to service my vehicle. I have the email chain saved if anyone would like to read it. More
