Brought my car in for an oil change and a tire rotation, which took way longer than it should have...over 3 hours! The service agents were professional and helpful, though. which took way longer than it should have...over 3 hours! The service agents were professional and helpful, though. More
I recently had two of my vehicles worked on by the service department. The guy that helped me, Patrick, seriously went above and beyond to help me get my vehicles fixed up! Our 3+ month (98 days) long experience with the Midtown Kia service department was an absolute nightmare. We took in our 2020 Telluride on January 14, 2025 to fix an inoperable sunroof, and the repair was not completed until April 22. According to the final service report, the amount of time it took to fix the issue was 3.3 hours. During the 3+ months, we were assigned (4) separate service techs, all of whom were completely unresponsive and very difficult to get a hold of. After the first 2 ½ months with no solid progress or updates, I decided to drive to the dealership just so I could speak with the service department to get some type of update and a plan to get the sunroof fixed. When I arrived in person to speak with the service tech, he had no idea what the status was and refused to discuss a plan of action for the repair. I requested to view our vehicle to check the current state of the repair, and after 15 minutes of searching for our vehicle, a service tech took me to the very back of the property where it was parked outside, and it was immediately evident nothing had even been touched on our vehicle. Weeks prior to this, I had been told the headliner had been removed and the sunroof assembly had been taken apart in order to better diagnose the issue. It was obvious that none of the information they had been telling me was true. On the day our vehicle was ready to pick up, we were told it was being thoroughly cleaned first but would be ready at the end of the day. When we picked it up that evening, it was a complete mess and for some reason had a strong stench of urine. This horrible experience has completely ruined our initial love for the Kia Telluride, and we will never consider purchasing another Kia vehicle in the future. We can’t sell our Telluride fast enough! More
