Bought a certified pre-owned car from them and it had a horrible vibration. Took it back after 2 weeks and it took 7 weeks to figure out that the tires needed to be balanced. Morgan took over the service department and he is trying to make things better but he needs new tools, the overall management was poor prior to him coming on board and I went through 3 service advisors. They need to step up their game. Communication was terrible. Joe and Morgan have a hard task ahead in “fixing” the service department but I think they can do it if Midtown can keep them around. More
Met with Mr Aponte 7/7/23 regarding an ongoing issue and then emailed him 7/17/23 and he still hasnt responded! the phone number he wrote on his business card says out of service. It took from Sept 22 to july 23 to get a side mirror replaced, and it finally got done because we walked in to address a different issue! When I took my vehicle to Ferguson Kia they discovered my extended warranty through Kia (Power Select) that I paid for when I ordered my car in April of 2019, was never entered into the system and therefore doesnt exist! So now I have been trying to get that issue resolved so that I CAN take my car somewhere else for the repairs! and now I cannot get anyone to respond to voicemails or emails (I emailed Mr Aponte and he never responded, I have left voicemails and emails for the finance director Shelly Smith and she has not responded) SERVICE IS AWFUL AT MIDTOWN! We had a wonderful buying experience with Midtown Kia. Bolt was our sales rep, he was courteous and knowledable, did not feel pushed or pressured to buy. The whole process two/ three hours to complete which is an accident. The vehicle has more than 20 pieces of tape and stickers and use it to be removed that were missed during pre-delivery inspection.
