After having my car in 3 times to try to locate a noise it was making when I brake, they continue to say it is normal. I have had several new cars in my life and none have made noise upon braking. I took it in an asked for them to keep it several days and drive it as they were having trouble hearing it. I left it there 3 days and when they called and said nothing was wrong I noticed the odometer had increased by (2) miles. So not much effort and they said this was normal as brakes break in. So I am to suppose to consider a thumping noise normal. Pretty sad. So I will look to have it and our Sportage serviced somewhere else.
