I bought a 2008 toyota 4runner this last january in 2012 from Michael's Toyota of Bellevue. I had leather and tinted windows done which they said would take a week but ended up taking 3 1/2 weeks for some " from Michael's Toyota of Bellevue. I had leather and tinted windows done which they said would take a week but ended up taking 3 1/2 weeks for some "reason." During this time I had tried contacting Toyota to give me an update on my rig several times and Never recieved a phone call back. Apparently as soon as you signed the contract and give them your down payment they just ignore you. So eventually I had to go into the dealership and talk with them about my car. This happened several times for about 3 weeks until I finally recieved my car. When I went to pick the car up, It had not been detailed, the floor mats had dried mud on them, the gas tank was on a 1/4 tank which they promised would be on full, and the front drivers seat was loose. So It took another few days to get all these issues fixed and they told me that all the seats in the 4runners are loose like mine and make noises. After driving the car for one week I noticed a pulsation in the brake petal which was a worped rotor which they had to resurface, missing trim pieces, small chips all over windshield. All were replaced Following this repair I drove the car for 2 more months and notices everytime I took my foot off the brake at a stop light it would make a loud clunking noise, also the front drivers seat was still loose and would clunk around when turning corners and I wanted a second opinion, and the trim from the windshield that they replaced looked loose. 2 days later received a phone call saying all repairs were done and that my seat frame was shot (which was weird because when I told them about it before buying the car they told me this was normal!!) and another one was on order but to come get my car for the weekend. I drove the car all weekend and monday. After work on monday I get into my car after a day of rainfall and the inside of my car was now leaking water!!! I immediately drove to dealership and they had the car for 2 more weeks. Once again recieved a phone call basically stating that they couldnt find the leak and thought I had just left my sunroof cracked open. Which really ticked me off! So i went to pick up my car and they pulled it around front after another day of rainfall and once again water was leaking from inside of my car!!!!!!! Finally it is fixed but when I returned to pick up my car it was on empty. Micheals Toyota of Bellevue is THE WORST dealership in town and I wouldnt recomend them to anyone. I have only had my 4runner for about 5 months and it has been in the shop for a month and a half of this time. I am very disappointed In my Car and if I could return it, I WOULD! More
I went in to take a look at a used highlander they had on CARS.COM. The salesman called to tell me it had been sold, but I was a few blocks away by the time he called. I ended up buying a beautiful 2002 High CARS.COM. The salesman called to tell me it had been sold, but I was a few blocks away by the time he called. I ended up buying a beautiful 2002 Highlander with 85k miles. I haggled and got a great price. My sales guy, Jay K. was very courteous and made time for me, even though I wasn't the most spendy person on the lot. Overall, a great experience. One would think that a dealer wouldn't even care about someone that only wants to spend very little on a car - but you'd be wrong. Very impressed with this dealer. I'd highly recommend. More
Who knew that car shopping could be such fun! I would like to personally thank all of the staff that I came in contact with at Toyota of Bellevue for a new view on car salesmen. I was impressed with J like to personally thank all of the staff that I came in contact with at Toyota of Bellevue for a new view on car salesmen. I was impressed with Jay Khaira who sold me my new Toyota Camry. He was tuned into what I was looking for by showing me a few models in my price range. He even showed me a few cars that I wanted to see because I researched them even though after talking too me he knew better than I did that they weren't what I really wanted in a car. I was impressed with his knowledge of the line and his salesmanship. He knew when to sell me the features of the car but he knew when to stop talking and let the car show me what it had to offer. I would also like to mention that I met more people on staff at Toyota of Bellevue than I expected to. I have to give credit to Kylan Kendrick, Sales Manager, for training his team. They looked professional even on a 81 degree day. They met me outside on the sidewalk in front of the building, with smiles and hello's. They were genuinely happy to meet me and help me find a new car. I think I met the whole team that was on staff that day. It was great. They couldn't do enough for me. Even after my purchase the calls continued to be sure that I was happy with my purchase and experience and to remind me to call Jay or Kylan if I had any concerns. Thanks again to both of you, I'll be sure to tell everyone I come in contact with what a great experience I had at Toyota of Bellevue. Once again thanks for everything Jay, you made buying a Toyota Camry a pleasure. More
I was interested in a Sequoia, called to find out more about one they had listed on their website and in a nutshell I had a very bad experience with Matt. He was unresponsive, he didn't return calls when about one they had listed on their website and in a nutshell I had a very bad experience with Matt. He was unresponsive, he didn't return calls when he said he would, he lied about the vehicle and was essentally VERY "shifty". First he said that it was new and there was no way it was a demo, then he said that their VP's wife was driving it and it had about 4000 miles, then he said someting about the husband towing a boat, but only with a Tundra. I looked up his name on the contact list and it turns out he's a manager - what a dissapointment as they had the color scheme that I was looking for. In the end I made an offer, he said that he take it to his manager and call me back within an hour either way, it's been more than a day and I've still not heard from him... More
My lease is coming up and I wanted to see what my options were. I wasnt ready to buy that day but I wanted to see what new cars are out there since I havent needed to look for the past 3 years. I started l were. I wasnt ready to buy that day but I wanted to see what new cars are out there since I havent needed to look for the past 3 years. I started looking online and while looking at some inventory online a chat bubble pop up. I started talking with someone from Michaels and they answer my questions and offered to set up a test drive just to see what I liked. they would also offered to give me numbers on my car as a trade in to see if I would be giving back a lease that I could get more money for on trade in. I set up a time and showed up. I was greated by Josh(the person from the chat) and was shown several Toyota's. I ended up using my equity in my lease as down payment on a new 4runner. I didnt plan on it but they made it easy and never pressured me. Wish I would have bought my car there 3 years ago. Bottom line.... Great service, price, and dealership. thanks again More
Found a dashlight had came on in my 2008 Highlander and didn't know what it meant, so while I waited for service dept to check it out, Nick Cruthers and Jay showed me around the lot and I fell in love with didn't know what it meant, so while I waited for service dept to check it out, Nick Cruthers and Jay showed me around the lot and I fell in love with the new Highlanders. They are not high pressured and they are both very knowledgeable, so that service call will likely turn into a sale very soon! Michael's Toyota team is very professional and the selection is great and the service even better. We are telling our friends to shop at Michaels. More
I recently purchased a 2007 Lexus is250 from this dealership and I couldn't be happier! the level of customer service at Toyota of bellevue was unlike any I've experienced anywhere else. First of a dealership and I couldn't be happier! the level of customer service at Toyota of bellevue was unlike any I've experienced anywhere else. First of all, I loved that your sales team is no pressure, I really felt like they just wanted me to be happy and it wasn't just about selling another car. Second, they were extremely fair with my trade in and I feel like I walked away with a great deal overall! I will 100% most definately be coming here for all my future vehicles, the experience was actually fun and I look forward to doing business with them again in the future! More
I bought my 2006 Corolla here and when it was time for a new Toyota I should have come here first, but I saw an internet special with another dealer and thought I would check it out. I should have known it new Toyota I should have come here first, but I saw an internet special with another dealer and thought I would check it out. I should have known it was too good to be true. All I got was a salesman that tried to pressure me into buying something that wasn’t what I really wanted. I decided to go back to Toyota of Bellevue because I had a good experience there last time. This time was no different. I found a new Corolla that fit my needs without all of the pressure. The negotiations were nice and easy and I am very happy. Next time I will save myself a lot of time and stress and go to Toyota of Bellevue first! More
I recently went to Michaels Toyota to look at their selection of used vehicles. I ended up choosing a 2009 Dodge Charger. The sales people were nice but not very honest. While we were negotiating on selection of used vehicles. I ended up choosing a 2009 Dodge Charger. The sales people were nice but not very honest. While we were negotiating on the charger my fiance asked specifically " this wasn't a rental car or anything like that was it?" and they assured us it wasn't and even backed that up with a clean car fax. So I purchaced the car. 3 weeks later we get a call from them saying that they had me sign the wrong car fax that in fact the carfax was for a totally different charger. They faxed me the car fax that went to my vehicle and low and behold the car HAD been a rental car!! Not only that but only had 1 service record for the entire time that the rental company had owned it. It has 48,000 miles on it. I was blown away!! I felt scammed. So I called them up and insisted they take the car back. At first the man on the phone tried talking me into keeping it I told him NO WAY that the deal was under fraudulant pretence and I knew I was well within my rights to break the contract. Long story short I took the car back that night hassle free and got my money back. I don't want to say that I didn't like the people there but their business ethics are poor. I would recommend if your gonna buy a car through them you carefully read everything they put in front of you and make sure it is all legit!! More
We went in to see about a new Camry Hybrid. We were still shopping and comparing and were not going to purchase that day no matter what. While Jay was friendly, when he go the "Costco Manager" Kylan t still shopping and comparing and were not going to purchase that day no matter what. While Jay was friendly, when he go the "Costco Manager" Kylan things changed quickly. First the extreme high pressure sales tactics were ugly. Second when we said we were leaning towards used and this Kylan found out they didn't have what we wanted used he started talking about how new is better, and Camry's don't depreciate at all. He mentioned a 2010 Camry Hybrid that he said was KBB (kelly blue book) retail valued at over $30,000. I countered that a 2010 with less than 12,000 miles was actually valued at $27.165 according to the KBB. He got quite an attitude at that. Stating how he had been doing this for "over 18 years." That I was "wrong and didn't know what I was talking about." Little did he know that I had a printout from KBB that was printed less than 6 hours previously that showed exactly $27,165 for a fully loaded 2010 Camry Hybrid with less than 12,000 miles. When I told him this, he got even more defensive and went on and on about how I was wrong and he knew what he was talking about, etc.. Oh MY! What a terrible experience! To tell a customer that they are lying to their face when they actually have the proof! Well, I told him that there was no way we were going to do business and said "And you know, you shouldn't argue with customers when they have proof they are right," he just said "GOODBYE" and turned around and stormed away. Yeah, what professional conduct. Needless to say we won't be purchasing anything from them! More
