Chad Morehouse of Michael's Toyota of Bellevue treated me with respect, answered all my questions and sold me a vehicle! The dealership also facilitated my financing. Chad ensured the vehicle was serviced and undercoated timely to meet my transportation deadline. He even came in on his day off to go over the vehicle's features and make sure I was completed satisfied as i picked it up to take it to the barge. Possible Scams and Bullying After leaving with our new car, the problems started... I am concerned that my wife and I became victims of a Bushing Scam and later bullied into s After leaving with our new car, the problems started... I am concerned that my wife and I became victims of a Bushing Scam and later bullied into signing a contract with Michael's Toyota of Bellevue. A quick explanation of what a Bushing Scam is: "Bushing" occurs when a dealer attempts to change the terms of a sale agreement. From what I can tell from the Washing State Office of the Attorney General's page (just do a google search for Washington Busing Scams) the 4 day time-frame which indicates that Bushing has or hasn't occurred begins the day that I sign my paperwork and leave with my car. We signed a contract for a new car on May 26, 2014. The dealership called me June 6, 2014 (9 working days after my wife and I signed our paperwork) and let a message simply stating to call back and that there was an urgent matter about our loan. We called back and got no answer. We left a voicemail. On Sunday June 8, 2014 the Dealership got a hold of us and explained that our loan was not approved. I explained that I was concerned that Bushing has occurred but the dealership assured me that bushing has NOT occurred and insisted that the 4 day time-frame to notify the customer doesn't start until they get the decline from the bank--which they told me they received that decline on June 2, 2014. After later explaining that we didn't wish to sign any new contract but rather would like to explore the option to return the car and receive a refund and pay whatever fee and charges would apply to us, the dealership threatened us with lawyers and legal action. In order to avoid taking any legal action (which might be drawn out and costly), my wife and I decided to just sign a new contract which we did on June 13, 2014. The people we worked with at Michael's Toyota of Bellevue were Tony Wong (Sales), Chris Williams AKA "Big C" (Assistant Sales Manager), and Mike Rosette (Finance Manager). Each of these people either knowingly or unknowingly misled us and/or lied to us about details pertaining to our sale, contract, and verbal promises. Rest assured, we will not be doing any future business with Michael's Toyota of Bellevue. More

After explaining to Christian L. what were were looking for he showed us a number of vehicles that matched our criteria and recommended a particular one to us. We test drove it first and then purchased it. As part of the deal Michael's agreed to instal an electronic brake control for a trailer on it which they did. The work was completed in a timely manner and the vehicle has lived up to our expectations. We are very satisfied with how Michael's treated us and have really appreciated working with Christian. More
