I took my Nissan in for an oil change, was told I needed brake flush, coolant flush and an air filter replaced, fine. When I picked up my car from having these services done, I was told I had a hole rusted brake flush, coolant flush and an air filter replaced, fine. When I picked up my car from having these services done, I was told I had a hole rusted through my exhaust manifold and it would be very expensive to repair ("couple thousand dollars") and I should take it to a shop like Midas and it could be done much cheaper. Leaving this service appointment, my car was making a new, constant, very loud humming noise. I called the warranty company and learned that this repair would be covered under my warranty. I called the service department back and was questioned about when/where I bought my car because they did not know I had a warranty, apparently they use a different warranty company. The service provider did not offer to bring my car back for repair and quickly got off the phone. When I called back, I was given the run-around "oh, Mike helped you before, he's at lunch and will call you back," which never happened. I called again the next day asking for the manager and was then allowed to make an appointment. When I brought my car in, with my warranty, I was told there was not a problem with my manifold ("you told your warranty company you had a hole in your manifold, that's not true"), that a flange had broken or rusted and that was not covered under the warranty. I asked them not to do anything else. When I picked up the car, it was making a new rattling noise. I took it to a mechanic recommended by a coworker. Upon taking a cursory glance under the car and hearing the noise, he tells me not to return there, "they have disconnected your exhaust and broken the flange and it will need to be welded." This is from a guy that had no stake in the car, he had already told me he doesn't work on Nissan's but would refer me to someone else. I am totally disappointed this MJ Nissan place was dishonest and crooked! More
This is an outstanding dealership. I had extensively researched the Altima before my visit and my expectations have been fully met. My trade-in was fair and the ultimate price as good as, or better tha researched the Altima before my visit and my expectations have been fully met. We were in the market for a car and I had already decided that I wanted to purchase a Nissan. We decided that before going to any other dealership that we would go to the Michael Jordan Nissan first, and see that I wanted to purchase a Nissan. We decided that before going to any other dealership that we would go to the Michael Jordan Nissan first, and see the options they had. We immediately met Travis, and he was more than wiling to show us what they had and answer any and every question that we had. And we had several questions, seeing as though this was our first vehicle purchase..ever! We saw the Altima, that I now own and immediately fell in love with it. Travis immediately jumped on it and started the paper work and gave us options on how to purchase the vehicle we went in on a thursday and a week later I got to drive the car home. Kevin who was the financial advisor was also super friendly and we had the most ridiculous conversation while finishing up and signing all the paperwork. I absolutely love the staff that work there and they really make the car buying experience so easy and completely stress free. I would absolutely go back to this dealership and buy several cars from them. If you're looking to buy a car, and are not sure what to get please check this dealership out and i guarantee you will fall in love with what they have. I have always loved the nissan brand and i feel absolutely great about our purchase. Thank you to Travis and Kevin for making our first car buying experience so memorable and so enjoyable! :) More

My family and I have been loyal to the Nissan brand since the 70s when my parents owned a Datsun 210. We upgraded to a Nissan Sentra. I went to MJN to do research because I knew was going to buy a car in three months (to save up a down payment) and I already knew what I was going to buy (2013 Altima). I was researching price comparisons between car lots to decide what dealership I would make my purchase when ready. I didn't need to nor had any attention to speak with anyone. I had just gotten off work and just wanted to check out sticker prices, make notes, and go home. Mark came up to me when he saw me walking around to assist. He was pleasant and easy to talk to. I told him exactly what I wanted and didn't want and what mattered and what didn't. He took me around the lot and showed me a few things. None of the cars he showed me really "spoke" to me. THey didn't have the one thing I wanted which was a spoiler in the colors that were acceptable. We were walking into the showroom and I saw a car with no sticker being driven by someone and it was the blue I wanted, had a spoiler and a lot of other extras that really didn't matter but were nice. I asked him how much and to ask the person driving it to sell it to me if the numbers were what I liked. Then I meet Ken and I told him I would buy the car today (even though I had no intentions of buying a car and giving up my 14 year old Nissan Sentra I loved deeply and was still running just fine with over 200k miles). He gave Mark and I the keys to test drive while he worked the numbers. When I returned he finally found something I was comfortable with (after several laughs and back and forth conversations). Ken even gave me his umbrella. Now I am usually very firm when I have made a plan for big purchases such as this but somehow this dynamic duo convinced me to get the car I wanted now rather than later and made it possible for me to stay aligned with my plan for the most part. My fiancé and I found ourselves in the market for a new vehicle, as one of ours was no longer functioning properly. After doing a lot of research online, looking at various types/brands of vehicles, we new vehicle, as one of ours was no longer functioning properly. After doing a lot of research online, looking at various types/brands of vehicles, we narrowed it down to either a Nissan Rogue or one other make/model. As we continued to do our research, we were coming across some decent prices on used Rogues and started to explore our options some more. One night, as I considered researching, I found myself on the Michael Jordan Nissan site looking at used vehicles. While there, I decided to take a look at the new (2013) models as well and I was pleasantly surprised to see some of the Rogues they had in stock were listed at prices that were within $5000 or so of the used models we had been considering elsewhere. I clicked on the "Get ePrice" link and received a phone call from Corinna the next morning. She quoted me a price (including incentives) that brought the price for the new vehicle within $2000 of the used vehicles we had been considering elsewhere. She emailed me the price she provided me verbally so that I had it in writing. After responding to her via email about possibly setting up a test drive, I received an email back from Tiffany Roberts and set up an appointment for a test drive with her for later in the week. Upon our arrival to MJ Nissan, we were greeted by Raheem Wilson, who explained that Tiffany wasn't going to be able to meet with me (us), but that she specifically referred us to him for our visit. Raheem was nice, courteous, and extremely personable. After a little confusion regarding the specific vehicle we were going to be test driving, we were on our way, driving around to get a feel for the handling of the vehicle and chatting with Raheem along the way. The test drive was the last thing that we needed to do in order to determine if we wanted to purchase the vehicle, and it passed the test! He didn't try to up-sell us, he didn't pressure us into any actual purchase, he just let us make our own decisions. He brought us over to his desk, filled out the required paperwork to pass along to the finance department, and we waited... though not nearly as long as I imagined we would be. It's at this point that Ken Massenburg came over and started asking some questions so that he could get the financing in order. He left for a couple of minutes to get things squared away, and then came back to get us and sat us down in his office to discuss what our options were. He was earnest, honest, and forthright with all the different options we had regarding payments/financing and any additional warranties/maintenance information. At this point, it was time to fill out all the final paperwork and get some signatures from us. Throughout this entire time with Ken, we discussed everything from our families, to our interests, to car related things. At no point did we feel like he was giving us a "hard sell" on any information he provided, and this made for a much more pleasant experience in getting things finished. We drove off with our new Rogue that morning, and have yet to regret that decision. We have no qualms in referring anyone we know to Michael Jordan Nissan, as well as Raheem and Ken specifically.
