No hard sell, no mind games, no trickery. Because of the distance, I conducted all of the preliminaries and negotiations via email. My sales rep, Candice, was aboveboard, forthcoming, and professional during the entire process. She responded quickly to my questions and provided plenty of follow up detail, including a video that highlighted not only the vehicle’s selling points but also its flaws. That sort of up-front honesty made me willing to continue the conversation and risk the 3-hour drive to complete the purchase. I’ve had bad experiences with car dealers in the past, so I was fully prepared for a few “surprises” once I showed up in person. As it turns out, the only surprise was how well Metro had detailed the car. The car was immaculate, including very skillful removal of two minor dings/dents that Candice had disclosed in her video. During my time on site, Candice was helpful, professional, and genuine. She was a pleasure to work with. After I finished my inspection and test drive, the transaction was painless. Yes, the sales manager offered me an extended warranty, but there was no pressure when I politely declined. I had leased my first Lexus from the Greenwood Village location in Colorado - I thought I had the best experience until I was proven wrong. At Metro, I met Abed and his team, and they were confident enough to share that the instructions at the other Lexus location were indeed incorrect. I was relieved to learn that I wasn't required to drive 19+ hours back to Colorado to not only return the car, but to get a new one. I shared with Abed that I was considering purchasing a second property here in Ohio, and he was so mindful of the timeline I had since our lender was adamant about not purchasing a car until after the closing of a property. With tariffs being a huge swift within our nation's imports, Abed was able to schedule time to meet with me and my partner to test drive the 2025 RZ model. My partner does industrial and electric work, and he was impressed with the feedback and testimonies Abed was able to share with us: cost, efficiency, and safety. We weren't planning on purchasing that day when we went in, but we had a brief discussion and decided it was time to surrender the NX300, and have a fresh start with Metro Lexus with Abed.
