We purchased a new 2011 C300 from Len Logue and Herb Gordon Mercedes Benz in May, 2011 for my wife who was deploying to Stuttgart Germany (in July of 2011) with the US Army for 3 years. Our dilemma was Gordon Mercedes Benz in May, 2011 for my wife who was deploying to Stuttgart Germany (in July of 2011) with the US Army for 3 years. Our dilemma was to either purchase a vehicle in Germany or stateside and one of the key concerns was the navigational system. Len Logue and his team assured us that to use the navigational system in Europe was just a simple programming change with the European mapping DVD. After arriving in Stuttgart we were told by MB that the US navigational system was not compatible with the European model and that if we wanted to use the built-in system we would have to purchase a European head unit which would cost about $3000, give or take a few Euros. The email threads are farcical for a dealership who should know their product. I'm extremely disappointed and would be willing to share the email threads between myself and Herb Gordon staff and Len Logue with anyone interested in more details. I cannot recommend this dealership and will not use them when she returns stateside. Bottom line, I'm now visiting Germany and am researching purchasing a portable navi device for our high end vehicle with a $3000 unusable option. Thanks Herb Gordon More
Pedro is the an exceptional salesman. He took the time to understand my needs and wants before he suggested anything. My Sales Associate, Frank Langwith, was extremely professional and helpful during the selection, purchase and delivery process,as well as during the programing of the communication/navigation system. From the service aspect, Bill Costlow, the Service and Parts Director, has been outstanding in offering good advice and recommendations regarding repairs; he's extremely trustworthy! In summary, I honestly can say that I would not consider using another Mercedes dealer for car purchases or car service. These folks really go all out to make it a pleasant, comfortable and easy experience! More

Celestin Lovence (he likes to be called Lovence), was the first person we saw the day we walked in and he worked with us until everything was done, answering questions over and over again with such professionalism and ease, while explaining and showing us everything. We were made to feel like the most important customers. Their facility is lovely also! Everyone was cordial, very knowledgeable of their products, and price discussions were open and comfortable (that was new). My overall experience was excellent. My new purchase I'm excited about and look forward to dealing with this team for years to come. More
I like to go in a dealership without asking for a salesman. Jonathan came to help us so quickly before we even realized anyone noticed us and managed to provide us all information without having to salesman. This is definitely the worst dealership to go for service. They scheduled to pick up my car at my office at 8:30a.m and promised to call at least 30 minutes earlier. Of course, they never called and when the time came, nobody showed up either. I called the main line and was told that no pickup was scheduled and they would never offer a pickup for a car not bought from the dealer and they would never offer a pick up at a specific time. So it seems to me that the person I was making the appointment with was not even a person should be working there. Is this WERID? How can I trust a dealership when one person told you one thing and the next person told you that he is totally wrong? I flee as fast as I can More
The only problem my wife and I had with the dealership was that they were so friendly, we felt we had to do business with them. Johnathan Logue was very straightforward and honest. And when there was a minor change needed to my purchase paperwork, someone drove to my home to deliver the updated papers for my signature - how much easier can buying a car get? I called the dealership to obtain pricing information and happened to be transferred to Johnathan. He was very friendly and helpful, which resulted in me coming into the dealership that same evening. The rest is history, I ended up purchasing a car a few days later and sold my truck to Carmax. Johnathan went above and beyond where he picked me up from Carmax after my car was sold so I could drive my car home. He was very patient, flexible and a true example of what 'customer service' means. I would definitely buy from Mercedes Benz of Silver Spring again because of the excellent service I received. More
