Used car inspection The purchasing process was amazing and is why I have said that I would refer anthem however in saying that I would also inform on my experience. The purchasing process was amazing and is why I have said that I would refer anthem however in saying that I would also inform on my experience. I purchased a used vehicle for my 17 yrs old son. I received a form that reads “We Owe” which listed all the things that would be fixed prior to us picking the vehicle up. The 1st thing on it was a used car inspection along with all the stuff I pointed out that needed to be fixed. I looked over the car for all the little things to ensure they were done but because it was daytime when we picked it up I wasn’t able to see if the headlights were all in working order properly. I saw the running lights and the high beams worked ok but didn’t notice the low beams. I asked the salesman who had been working with me if all the lights worked properly and he told me “YES”. He also said he would make sure the vehicle had a full tank of gas. Well with all the excitement, my son didn’t tell me until we were back home that he had 1/4 of tank of gas. That evening, my son calls me from work to tell me that he had no lights. I was shocked to say the least so I met him at work and sure enough he had only high beams, no low beam. So my son had to drive home with high beams on. I immediately sent an email to the salesman who helped me then followed up with a phone call the following morning. He told me to bring the car back and he would move me to the front of the line. When I got there and after waiting for close to 2 hrs, one of the mechanics came and told me the wiring was bad, the bulbs were bad and that there was some sort of after market lighting in the car. Even though they fixed it, why wasn’t this done in the 1st pace. I didn’t push them to get the vehicle done ASAP because I wanted to give the repair shop the time needed to ensure the car was in good / safe working order. My understanding is that the headlights are part of the safety features. What upset me the most is that this vehicle is my sons 1st car and I put his safety first. Although everyone I worked with knew it was for my child you would have thought that they would have made sure everything was in good working order and safe to drive before he drove this vehicle off the lot. Instead I feel like all I was, was just another sale. Maybe if I had bought my son a $40,000 used vehicle maybe they would have been a little more thorough. So because of the delivery portion I only give this a 2 star in the hopes that in the future they do a better job before delivery of any vehicle especially for someone who’s buying it for their son or daughter. More
Windshield wiper defect on new car John helped me with my windshield wipers because they were skipping leaving marks and making loud noises. Unequaled customer service MB of Seattle has customer service down to an art. When I purchased my car here, I hadn’t planned on using the Seattle location for service even thoug MB of Seattle has customer service down to an art. When I purchased my car here, I hadn’t planned on using the Seattle location for service even though my purchasing experience was nothing less than perfect. I went to another MB service department once and came running back to Seattle. I don’t want to use this to bash the other place, I just want to encourage others not to assume all MB dealerships are equal. I highly recommend Andrew in sales and Brian in the service department. Keep up the good work! More

Poor Communication and Service Check engine light turned on so I made an appointment with the dealership. I dropped the car off at 7am, and still hadn't heard what the problem was b Check engine light turned on so I made an appointment with the dealership. After several phone calls to check on the status and to see if I would be able to pick my car up in the afternoon, they informed me the car needed a software update and that's why the light was on. I was charged $297.14 for them to update my car's software. Now that John Bovee is gone and I'm being charged $300 to fix a basic issue, I will not be returning to this dealership. More

Overall Poor Experience My car that is not even a year old with less than 5000 miles on it, needed a new steering rack-the power steering went out. Dispatch sent the tow truc My car that is not even a year old with less than 5000 miles on it, needed a new steering rack-the power steering went out. Dispatch sent the tow truck driver to the wrong address after I said I need to get home to my dog and it was an emergency and even gave her the cross streets. I called them once I realized the tow truck driver was in the wrong location, again expressed I needed to get home but they said they couldn't help and for me to call the tow truck driver directly after they gave him the wrong direction. Then at Mercedes the service team parked my car in a fire lane and another customer backed in to it and causing the need for a new bumper when I called to ask for pictures of the damage 3 hours went by until I decided to leave work and go see the car myself since no one could get back to me. Also charging if you have a pet in a loaner car is really limiting to my lifestyle and created more of a burden. The bumper was fixed but when I received my car it had no gas, after this big of a hassle why wouldn't they give me enough gas to at least get home? Brian did his best to keep me updated. As someone who is a new Mercedes owner and bought a car in cash I don't think after this experience my next purchase will be Mercedes due to the inconvenience this luxury brand put me through. When you pay premium you should get bar raising service. More
