Working with Alex was great. From the beginning, he was low pressure and helped educate us on the features and upgrades instead of putting the hard sell on things we didn't need (for example, he talked us low pressure and helped educate us on the features and upgrades instead of putting the hard sell on things we didn't need (for example, he talked us out of the larger, more expensive rims because it might not be ideal for little children/driving comfort). Ordering our new GLS was painless - the only difficult part was waiting the 3 months for production! Prior to the car arriving in Princeton, Alex provided timely updates and was quick to respond to requests for updates. Once the car arrived, Alex got all the paper work done so when I came to pick up the car, all we had to do was sign a few documents, hand over a check, and get the keys. After Alex finished the transaction and got the keys, Rich helped us walk over the extensive features of the car and answered all our questions. He was knowledgeable and patient. When buying my first MB a few years ago in Chicago, once they got their money - they showed you the door (or told you to google your questions) - so this was a much welcome change. In summary, I enjoyed the experience so much, I drove past 4 other MB dealers on the way down from Jersey City to make the transaction with Alex in Princeton. I would purchase from MB Princeton and Alex again. More

While I would like to write a positive review, I can not. I had my 2014 S550 serviced on 10/30. The car had stopped and they said that I needed 2 new batteries and a new starter. I proceeded with the service I had my 2014 S550 serviced on 10/30. The car had stopped and they said that I needed 2 new batteries and a new starter. I proceeded with the service. Exactly 1.5 months later my car stopped stopped again on the NJ turnpike in the late evening as I was headed out of town for the holidays. The car was towed to MB of Princeton. I was told that I the car needed a new engine b/c there were metal particles in it. My service person said that I could get a refurbished engine for at least $27K and that would not include labor. I asked what the other alternatives were and my she aid that they could "dispose" it. Moments later she said I could also trade it in and speak to someone in sales. I thought, "What value would a car have that was apparently 'disposable?" Some time later during my visit, I responded that I may ship it to my family and have them handle it. My service provider responded that it would really be a waste since nothing could be done with the car. I shipped the car. I got it fixed. The issue was that the relay burned out. If a starter goes out, you check the relay as it may need to be replaced as well. Apparently-- based on my bill/labor from October, this was not done. As a result, my life was put at risk on the NJ turnpike. The car is in PERFECT condition. After my first visit at MB Princeton they even said that the car was in great condition to be a 2014. I think they saw my out of state tags and tried to take advantage of me. But I actually lived in Jersey. Further, my immediate family has been loyal MB customers for 40+ years. We know how to take care of our MBs-- apparently much better than the MB of Princeton. This is truly disappointing. I've already shared this with my local MB dealership and plan to file an official complaint. More
