This was my third new car lease at this dealership and this was as pleasant of an experience as the previous visits. As the salespperson, Mike was as accommodating as I could have possbly expected. He took the time to familiarize me with the various options available. He made sure he knew what I was looking for and then attempted to make the best fit. Robert Buchanan took the same approach regarding the financial aspect. He asked me what I would be satisfied with rather than what Mercedes had to have. As a result, I think I ended up with a completely satisfactory agreement. At no time was I subjected to any strong arm tactics. Delivery of the vehicle was made at my convenience and at that time, Mike gave me a thorough introduction to the vehicle's features. The vehicle came with a full tank of gas. My Mercedes was recently in an accident. The entire staff of Mercedes Benz of Hagerstown were very supportive and helpful. Marty Gillom, Service Manager, was extremely helpful and professional. The General Manager, Justin Harbert, was very kind and helpful and provided many solutions to my situation. I then called my personal sales representative, Mike Lavrenchik. I told Mike that my car had been in an accident and Mike immediately responded with a lot of information and support. After the many options he gave me, I decided to purchase another great Mercedes Benz. I am extremely happy with my decision and am very pleased with the kindness and support of the entire Mercedes Benz of Hagerstown staff. Mike is a great sales representative and will answer all the questions you have and will even roll up his sleeves as he puts in the new mats and screws on the license plates as you wait! He also helped me "program" my new radio and explained how everything in the car functions! Now that is service!! I fully understand why this dealership has been rated #1. Each person is extremely supportive and professional and will help you find a car or will provide you with excellent and affordable service each and everytime you call them. They provide a loaner car when your Mercedes is being serviced. They are honest and trustworthy and their work and service is superb! There is a difference! Upon our first visit to Mercedes Benz of Hagerstown, my family and I were greeted in a timely and welcoming manner by sales consultant Richard Paden. He quickly ascertained my wife's needs, made some suggestions, and thoroughly reviewed the features of the vehicle she selected to test drive. Upon our return from the test drive, the sales manager Rob Buchanon inquired how the vehicle suited my wife and family and asked if he could present us with some leasing figures in a non-threatening manner. The professional no hasle manner of the staff made our purchase decision an easy one. There was no "smoke & mirrors" or back and forth games which my wife experienced at the two other dealerships she visited earlier in the week. We will not hesitate to recommend MB of Hagerstown to all of our friends and business associates. Having just retired, my wife and I decided to upgrade our transportation and subsequently settled upon the Mercedes R350. In our search we arrived at a point of having to decide between 3 vehicles: Cadillac transportation and subsequently settled upon the Mercedes R350. In our search we arrived at a point of having to decide between 3 vehicles: Cadillac SRX, Toyota Sienna LE, Honda Odyssey Touring Elite. Early on, we ruled out the Cadillac feeling it did not measure up due to excessive road noise, stiffness of ride, and minimal storage space; the Toyota Sienna LE was a strong contender as was the Honda Odyssey. We had finally decided on the Honda, actually placing a deposit upon a vehicle. A day or two later on spontaneous impulse as I was driving by the Mercedes Dealership, I stopped to look at their collection of SUV's. The R350 was listed as a competitor with the Honda Odyssey Touring Elite. At that point, I spotted a couple of different models SUV but decided not to engage a sales representative prior to conducting computer research. In comparison, the two vehicles were close enough to meeting our needs and desires I was prompted to return to the dealership for a test drive. That's when I met Mike Lavrenchik, the dealer's sales consultant. I found Mike to be a true professional and genuine 'consultant.' There was never any 'hard-sell' techniques, to which I do not respond positively. Mike offered genuine, honest, and factual information that was useful in making a genuine comparison. Mike went above and beyond with his attention to details about which I would otherwise not have known to ask. The test drive took me through terrain sufficient to bring out the quality of the features of the R350. Purchasing a vehicle in today's market and economy entails making a major investment. As such, my wife and I look for a dealership that offers a strong platform upon which a meaningful relationship can be established and maintained. It became apparent from the first hand-shake, Mike Lavrenchik and the Mercedese Benz Dealership he represented maintained the same attitude and commitment to the values that my wife and I look for when establishing a customer relationship. In addition, the sales manager, Rob, also went above and beyond in working out the financial details in order to assist us remaining within our necessary financial perameters. Finally, upon selecting our specific vehicle configuration (external/internal color scheme, etc.), it was discovered there were only two vehicles on the eastern seaboard meeting our desired criteria. With Mike and Rob…no problem; they had the vehcle located and on its way within 2-days. When we picked up the vehicle, again Mike went above and beyond in walking my wife through all the details of drivability. The Mercedes R350 emerged as a superior vehicle… Mike & Rob emerged as genuine professionals essential for any dealership committed to excellence in service through honest and caring concern in their customer relationships. My first impression of the dealership is as a result of the timely manner in which I was contacted (by Mr. Wes Whetstone). I had 'clicked' on a key that somehow showed up when I was looking for a preowned the timely manner in which I was contacted (by Mr. Wes Whetstone). I had 'clicked' on a key that somehow showed up when I was looking for a preowned Acura TL under "More cars like this one". A photo of the car I now own popped up and I was interested in getting more information so I left the basics on myself in order to have someone contact me. Ironically, having had a doctor's appointment the next morning, I came into work to find a message from "someone at a Mercedez-Benz dealership but they didn't catch the first name" so when I checked my email at lunch, it all made sense. Wes was following up by phone as his email stated he would. I just hadn't gotten/read the email until after the fact! At any rate, we spoke, we emailed and I loved the car he was telling me about. Mind you, I'd already done my research to know that this was a vehicle that wasn't common! I drove to Hagerstown on a Wednesday evening arriving about 20 minutes before the dealership closes (I live in Rockville and the dealership is about an hour from me). Even though I'd communicated with Wes prior to driving up, I wasn't going to be surprised if they'd given up on me! Not so! The car was actually displayed directly in front of the showroom (of course) and Wes welcomed me warmly. We drove the Acura TL Type S and I was as much in love with it driving it as I had a gut feeling I would be! I expressed my desire to bring my father up on Saturday so he'd be able to see what he was helping me with. Wes was very honest and said that there was a couple in PA that was very interested in the car and as much as he knew I wanted the car and he wanted me to have it, he couldn't guarantee that it would be there. That was fair I said and went ahead and charged a couple thousand dollars in order to buy the car on Saturday! To make a long story short, I arranged for pick-up/delivery of the car on Saturday. Wes assured me that all would be done and ready. Saturday went perfectly and lo and behold, apparently there were 2 or more couples/families that had come all the way to the dealership to buy the car! Needless to say, I was able to breathe a sigh of relief and thanked Wes for being so straight-forward without being pushy, overbearing or anything else that many sales people tend to be. Overall, my rating of the experience at the dealership and with Wes and the staff is a 5 for the experience I described above! More
We'd been going to this dealership for service on our previous MB vehicles, but had not previously bought from them. We had looked at various vehicles from time to time, but didn't buy because the curren previous MB vehicles, but had not previously bought from them. We had looked at various vehicles from time to time, but didn't buy because the current ones were still under 100K miles and were doing fine, but we asked them to let us know if they had any used or loaner vehicles coming up. When one of our existing vehicles hit 99,978 miles, we needed to look quickly and find something similar -- alas, Mercedes no longer makes a C-class wagon -- but they did have a GLK crossover SUV that was similar in size. Not only did they remember we were looking for something, but they remembered to let us know in advance that February was the month when their service loaners went on sale. They did a super job of notifying us when loaner vehicles were coming up for sale -- both paper mail and phone call -- and gave us a great price for our trade-in (much more than we had expected). The transaction was smooth and easy -- the salesperson we were working with even came in on his day off to make sure we got the deal we were promised. Recommended -- they have probably the best Mercedes service dept in the DC area, bar none. Well worth the 45 minute drive. More

The caliber of service was great. They were efficient and finished the job in the amount of time and for the price I was quoted when I made the appointment.
