I bought a Gle here in Catonsville last year. When I talked to sell man he told me if I want to put the runner board on it doesn’t cost much! However when I bring back my vehicle they triple the prices. The sale manager has argued with me and has nasty attitude. They made me order online because he said we don’t have it because million reason. I was upset and step out his office. I went to talked general manager he Did solve my problems because the parts is here just because the sale manager didn’t want to help me. I was so frustrated and angry. They charged 3200 for runner board. No discount and no apologies so sad and never want to coming back here again. This is luxury services but I got treated badly. They called On Thursday to bring the car in parts it here. They told me to pick up the car and pay the another 850 dollars and after pay they said oh I just let you know that we missed the pads you have to bring it back again. What is the world! So mad so frustrated and all they said it sorry. How ridiculous dealership I ever been. Good luck to all new buyer! I hope they don’t treat y’all like they treat me. More
Could Not Be Happier I purchased a used C300 at another dealer some 5 years ago, and have been taking it to Mercedes-Benz of Catonsville for all my service and repair need I purchased a used C300 at another dealer some 5 years ago, and have been taking it to Mercedes-Benz of Catonsville for all my service and repair needs ever since. I could not be more pleased with my experiences over that time. Among the things they've done so well for me over these years: -My service needs and options were always explained to me in detailed terms, yet simply enough that a dunderhead like me could actually understand them. The difference between service options that *needed* to be done now vs. ones that should be done soon was explained each time. Estimates on each item were provided from the beginning, and every single time those figures were accurate. -The waiting area is beyond comfortable. No plastic chairs bolted to a wall here, we're talking the kind of furniture you'd actually have in your own home. Wifi is provided, as are charging stations for your devices, as are coffee (brew it up yourself with their Keurig!) and snacks. On the occasions when I couldn't wait at the dealership, a ride home was provided free of charge (along with a free pickup when the service was done). While use of a loaner was offered to me I never made use of this option. -Communication is outstanding! Whether I was waiting at the service center or continuing my life elsewhere, updates were constantly provided to me regarding what was happening with my car and approximately how much longer it should take. The repair work did sometimes drag on a bit longer than predicted, but that's always understandable and it was only ever by an hour or two. -The quality of service has been flawless. Over 5 years and at least a dozen trips to Mercedes-Benz of Catonsville, never once have I needed to take advantage of their warranty on parts or service. When they tell you something is fixed, it *is* fixed. -Honesty, integrity, and going well beyond the minimum. On one occasion I chose the incorrect service option on their online appointment scheduler and went into the dealership expecting to spend over $500--Gordon noticed my mistake, corrected it, and I left with the needed service having been performed for less than half that amount. When I provided a part which I had purchased online on another trip to their service station, there was no hesitation on their part to go ahead and install it for me. Perhaps most telling of the level of customer service I've experienced at Mercedes-Benz of Catonsville, when the most recent fault with my car made it economically impractical to repair it, Gordon and the service department had no issue with holding the car on their lot for several days while I made arrangements to purchase a new vehicle (from a different dealer, no less) and to have my C300 towed off for salvage. When I came to clean out my possessions, Gordon even graciously walked out with me and removed the license plates for me--this after a declined service trip for which I spent no money at all! I cannot recommend the service department at Mercedes-Benz of Catonsville highly enough, and while I'll certainly miss the driving experience in my old Mercedes, I'll miss working with Gordon and the rest of the staff there even more. In over 30 years of car ownership, I have never found a more honest and accommodating service center than the one sitting right here in Catonsville. (Oh. In the interest of fairness I suppose I should include some negatives in my experiences at Mercedes-Benz of Catonsville. Well...the lot can be difficult to get in and out of during peak traffic hours. And, uhh...I'm not a huge fan of the home renovation shows they always had on in the waiting area. Although I never asked about changing the channel, either.) More

On top of that, they never contacted me once after I leased the car. Now that the lease is almost up, they keep harassing me to lease another car with them. Even after telling them to stop contacting me MULTIPLE time, they will not stop. No wonder they have only a 2.5 star rating on Yelp. More

We had to constantly watch and question their aggressive recommendations for fixing expensive non-issues and replacing wear parts too early. Finally called it quits with them when the manager told us they had provided information when they did not. They said we declined work we had never even been told about. Just not trustworthy. Will try one of the highly rated independent shops that are actually closer and just take Lyft instead of loaners. More
Brought my car in for regular maintenance and asked them to look at my headlight that had a bulb go out & had MINOR condensation. I received the car back with a headlight full of water. I was told I have a to look at my headlight that had a bulb go out & had MINOR condensation. I received the car back with a headlight full of water. I was told I have a hairline crack in my headlight, but they put it through the car wash anyway. The rep that helped me, Jackie, was incredibly unprofessional from the start—even prior to issue arising. She was cursing throughout the interaction in a very casual way, saying things like “It’s Mercedes. That s**t’s expensive.” I don’t expect people to talk to me like a robot, but at the same time, it’s Mercedes. We’re not at the bar. They ended up giving me a loaner while the tried to resolve the issue. Jackie called me the following day and told me they blew out my light to get the water out and it was ready for pick up. The car was in the exact same spot and I was told by another representative that it hadn’t moved the whole day. Needless to say, nothing was done to get the water out and I wasted my time going there after work. So that night I ended up speaking with Abe who was very professional, understanding, and accommodating and told me to keep the loaner because the light still wasn’t addressed. The following day I got a call from Paula, the cashier, who said that she told me when I got the loaner, that I would have to bring it back right away if the issue was fixed. I told her it was still being worked on so she said she would check with the manager and he would call me back. Russel, the manager was very reasonable and professional. He tried to accommodate me, but ultimately the solution they were offering (replacing the headlight for $2,200) was not something I wanted to do. Fast forward to day five that my car is in the shop for this issue. I get a call from the shop manager and he tells me my key fob isn’t working and asks me if I’ve ever had issues with the key. I told him no. I used the key to get the car there and I was just in the car days earlier to grab something before I left after my second attempt to get the unfixed car. I asked him if the battery could have died. He opens the key fob up while I’m on the phone with him and the battery was in upside down. Obviously the battery wasn’t in upside down when I brought it in because I drove it there and they drove it several times in order to work on it. He said they must have replaced the battery and put it in the wrong way. This added to my distrust for the dealership because judging from my interactions up to this point, I don’t feel like they would randomly replace my battery for free particularly AFTER the car was worked on and just sat. On the sixth day of the car being at Mercedes, I went to pick the car up. Russel said the night before that they dried the light out and I could pick the car up. When I got there, it was better than it was when I came to get the car the first and second time, but not in the same condition it was when I brought the car in. The problem isn’t with Russel, however. He’s doing what he can with what he’s got. Overall the dealership was VERY on top of trying to get their loaner back, but not at all worried about fixing the issue with my car as evidence by the fact that the car sat for several days with nothing done and no communication from the shop. I got several calls about the loaner without any updates on my car. Communication is a massive issue there. But to top things off, the whole experience wouldn’t have been complete without $25 getting stolen from my center console! I honestly had to laugh and drive off because I couldn’t believe how terrible the whole transaction was. Quite the experience for Mercedes Benz. Russel and Abe, you two are fantastic and I really appreciate your attempts at helping. My interactions with everyone else were unacceptable and my car is worse for the wear having gone to the Catonsville location. Not only would I not recommend this locations, I will definitely tell people to avoid this location. If I can save one person from the headache I’ve gone through here, it will be worth sharing the experience. More

My sedan was 2016 Ever since purchasing my E350 Sedan I wanted the Coup version of an E Class. Something that experience from past was burning... My sedan was 2016 white 4M sport in good shape with no real need of trading it, until my coup of my dreams appears on a search. Certified 2016 E550 Coup Sport White & Chocolate , like my sedan's make-up. But the car I wanted from the beginning. Throw a question and Kevin my Sales professional for life reached out - asked some questions and went to work. Two phone calls - three Txt messages and we were ready to rock and roll. Fair purchase with a little help from the Finance department , I had my survivor car of the past once again. My last Coup I sold after some battles with Cancer and did not drive it much.... Catonsville made it happen... Well worth my 3 hour drive.... Thanks Kevin - and team.... More
Customer Service - Never heard of it. I did not learn my lesson. I reviewed MB Catonsville before about replacing my Auxiliary Battery and taking 2.5 hours to do it. The only good thing I did not learn my lesson. I reviewed MB Catonsville before about replacing my Auxiliary Battery and taking 2.5 hours to do it. The only good thing was that the car was under warranty. I was not intending to go back, accept the battery stopped working and according to their warranty paperwork the battery is covered for 24 months - NOT. After waiting almost 2 hours again, the service adviser informed me they do not honor the warranty because I did not pay for the battery in the first place - it was a warranty replacement. You can read the warranty and tell me where it says that. JUNK More
