Thank you for your feedback. We understand how important transparency and quality service are in vehicle maintenance and repairs. However, we would like to clarify a few details. Over the course of several respectful and professional interactions, we made multiple good-faith offers to have the vehicle brought back in so our team could review the alignment concerns at no additional cost. Those offers were declined. We sent multiple emails and spoke on the phone, wherein you declined and hung up. Regarding the alignment printout — while some specifications may show as out of range, it’s important to note that not all values are adjustable on every vehicle. We always strive to explain this clearly and transparently. Additionally, we would like to address the claim of a “bait and switch” regarding the oil change price. Pricing can vary based on oil type, vehicle make, and any current promotions — we encourage all customers to confirm pricing and details at the time of scheduling. We have tried multiple times in a professional way to invite you in and you have not reciprocated that. We welcome constructive feedback and always aim to resolve concerns in a professional manner. However, we must respectfully stand by our policies and team members. Our offer remains open and we would be happy to assist.

In their response, they stated they understand transparency and quality of service, but they failed in both aspects in our case. They did not mention anything about some values not being adjustable prior to performing it. Their printout states that the values are out of spec and that could cause safety issues and uneven wear in brand new tires that I paid upwards of $1,000. They blamed the car manufacturer for it and ignored a Nissan Recall Campaign Bulletin that addresses this matter. They said it is just a bulletin and I would be responsible for the cost of more than $260. Why would I decline if you offered to fix the alignment issue at no additional cost? You said you would look at it and if additional things such as the steps mentioned in the bulletin need to be done, I would be responsible for it. That is why I declined and decided to end the phone call as it was very unprofessional and unfriendly. The so-called general manager was also making excuses for his employee and making up reasons as to why the oil price was higher than what was stated on the website. I really think he has no idea about their website pricing. If you advertise an oil change price with no specific conditions on your website and when a customer comes in for that price, the increase of the price for whatever reason is the definition of Bait and Switch. In my case, you increased the price from about $70 to $90.

At McLarty Daniel Nissan, we take pride in providing a world-class experience for every customer. All retail vehicles undergo a rigorous 167-point inspection, and we offered you an Extended Service Contract at the time of sale, which allows for repairs at any reputable shop nationwide to ensure our customers are covered wherever they travel. You declined the service contract and left completely satisfied, drove it over an hour away, and used it for 8–11 days before reporting an issue. Upon hearing your concerns, we offered to inspect the vehicle free of charge, but as we explained, transportation to our dealership would be your responsibility since you live an hour away, and declined the extended service contract, stating you would cover any future repairs. Instead of working with us toward a resolution, you chose to argue, raise your voice, use profanity, try to defraud the finance company and ultimately hang up on us. While we remain committed to excellent customer service, it is difficult to assist when mutual respect and cooperation are not reciprocated.
