My daughter's Ford Focus would not start. On Sunday, we took the battery down and had it tested and found it was bad. The gentlemen at #Autozone was really nice. He noticed that the battery was under warranty from Ford and advised us to take it to them to replace it. I went to #mckieford this morning to get a new one. I was told that it needed to be in the car. Okay, not happy, I went back and put the battery back in her car and was luckily able to get it jumped. We drove back to McKie Ford and I explained the situation. The person there told me I needed a receipt for the battery. I don't have the receipt because the battery is original to when I purchased the car. I have never asked a car dealership for a receipt for a battery when I made a purchase. #mckieford refused to honor the 100-month warranty on an OEM part from Ford Motor Company. So, the next time you buy a new car from any Ford Dealership, make sure to get a receipt for all the parts that may be under warranty, because they will not honor their warranty without it. Shame on you! More

So I was on a snowmobile trip out to the Black Hills of SD. Around 10 miles east of Rapid City SD I began having trouble with my 2019 Ford f 150. So we pulled into McKie ford dealership to have them take a look at it. To much my surprise very rude along with no customer service they told me in a nutshell to bad so sad. They wouldn't be looking at my pickup for about a month. I get it I'm on vacation with my cousins and uncle I don't and never expected to get right in. But you're telling me nothing you can do for 3-4 week's....WOW great customer service then I have a salesman hounding me and shadowing me wanting me to trade it in on a new pickup. No concern about our vacation just about making a buck I told him if I couldn't get service done at a Ford dealership on my Ford pickup I sure wouldn't buy another Ford especially from a dealership who expressed no dedication to a Ford owner and I asked him where the nearest GM dealership was located. Luckily there was another Ford dealership in Sturgis SD Scott Peterson Motors that brought me in right away considering I was on a trip passing through. They showed me there's still some people and businesses that care about people and have good customer support and service. More

Unfortunate mistake on the dealers part caused an issue with our coolant line. Asked that the entire repair cost be absorbed, the dealer would only cover a portion. I purchase a used car yesterday for $5100. I made it four miles from the dealership when it overheated. I contacted the salesman immediately he advised not his problem. It took me three hours yesterday to make it eight miles to my home. It is reasonable to assume a vehicle purchased would at minimum take you safely home after purchase. I don't feel my assumption expectation are outrageous. I believe Jeff Kappel was only concerned with his Commission instead of a satisfied customer. So after purchasing a vehicle oh, I effectively have a large paper weigh in my driveway. I assumed erroneously got a dealership would stand behind what they sold. Just like Dan Brehmer from Brehmer Auto did. Several years ago I purchase a used car from him. The day after purchase transmission started to slip. I contacted him immediately and he had me bring it right over. We then worked out a satisfactory arrangement treating that car for a different car of equal value. I was more than satisfied and honestly I assume but every dealership would have the same integrity and value their customers. I will not ever purchased another vehicle from Mickey Ford. I plan to advise any person and every person that I can to avoid McKie Ford for any purchase. More
