Good experience turned bad Found a used car online and came in the same day. Dave was great working with me throughout the entire process. After some discussion, they agreed to Found a used car online and came in the same day. Dave was great working with me throughout the entire process. After some discussion, they agreed to match Carmax for my trade in which was a couple hundred more. However, after the initial conversation about the price of the car and amount they would give me for my trade in they only spoke in terms of monthly payment while I was working of the Truevalue price expectation. They then added a $795 delivery fee that they did not tell me about. While it was in the paperwork (however I had to request the paperwork from them after the fact and search through to find it), it was not verbally discussed with me at any point. Additionally, when I called McGrath City Honda and another McGrath City dealer the next day to ask about any additional fees, they told me no additional fees apply to the listed price. When I inquired about the fee, the response I receive was that the the fee was "disclosed not once, or twice but 5 different times on 5 different forms". Which it may have been, but my issue was that it was not explained to me and that they were intentionally deceptive by wrapping it into the monthly payment without telling me that the total price was different than just the price of the car, plus taxes, and title. This is the type of sleazy sales practice that I would expect from an independent used car salesman not a reputable Honda dealer. More
