I came in and let Steve DeDominick know what I was looking for and he exceeded my expectations in both price and quality of service. Bruce was very straightforward and helpful as well. He got me an excellent rate with zero hassle. Steve and Bruce's combined efforts made the process seamless and pleasant. In no time flat I was rid of my trade-in and drove off the lot in a beautiful Mazda 3. The other employees were very friendly in passing as well and I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a good deal and a good buying experience. More

I gave a good rating for most of the categories.... except for the quality of the work. I cannot remember our sales representative, but he was very nice, as were all of the employees we encountered. except for the quality of the work. They did not have the exact car we wanted on the lot, so they got one from a dealer up in Salem. The eta for receiving was a bit blown out of perportion though. The sales rep stated that we would be able to have the car in 1-2 days. It almost took an entire week. BUT, they were willing to deleiver it to my doorstep, which is nice, because I live 45 minutes from the dealer. BUT, this is where things started to turn for the worst. 1. When they delivered the car....they forgot to include the temp tags..... So I was driving around town for a week without the tags till I received them in the mail. 2. They delivered the car with an empty tank. I did not realize this till the guy who delivered it was hours long gone. (they did send me a gas card a few weeks later)! 3. It has now been a few months since the purchase. I just got a letter from the Oregon DMV stating that the paperwork that they filled out and sent in was incomplete. I now have 30 days to get all the correct paperwork filled out and sent in or my registration will be revoked. In summary, the people were very friendly, but the quality has already convinced me that I will not be returning to this dealer for future business. BTW.....I was not to keen on buying a mazda3 skyactive, (my wife made me!!!), but it has grown on me and I now love it! More
For the first time ever, my husband & I had a totally positive car shopping (& car buying) experience, thanks to Power Mazda and Jeff Crites, the internet sales manager. There was no pressure or hassles whatsoever -- just a listening ear and friendly, patient, knowledgeable help in choosing the car (a 2014 Mazda 6) that best suited our needs. When we finally decided exactly what we wanted -- in a color and package less readily available than most -- Jeff left no stone unturned in tracking it down for us. It was still at the port and destined for a dealership in Kirkland, Washington, but we got it in just a couple of days. My husband and I are in our 60s and have had some really, really sour experiences with previous car shopping over the years, so this was a wonderful turn of events. Definitely, Power Mazda will get our future business, too! (P.S. We LOVE our new car!) More
Came in for service on my KIA van & met Ken, who was VERY friendly & nice! He had a great personality & I clicked with him immediately probably because he REALLY liked my 67 Mustang I brought to pick u VERY friendly & nice! He had a great personality & I clicked with him immediately probably because he REALLY liked my 67 Mustang I brought to pick up my van & it started up the conversation with us about cars, my van needing serviced, why I had it to help out my sick dad & what we REALLY wanted now that my dad had was gone, etc. When we came back for the van after service & decided to discuss some options, we went home, did some research online, found the Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring I wanted, signed up for the auto program at Costco & Power Mazda was on the list! I was worried because I wanted Ken to get my sale since we had already talked, really connected & he assured me Costco had the best auto program. We had great service! Still needed to negotiate payments a little, but it worked out great because after we agreed on payments, it turned out that Costco offered an extended warranty that covered the CX-9 BUMPER TO BUMPER for the ENTIRE length of the loan....AND lowered our monthly payments by an additional $17 per month....AND lowered our interest by another point.....which Bruce (who printed all our paperwork explained to us in detail).....AWESOME! Roy truly worked for us to get our vehicle at the price point we were looking for. Because of that experience when my mom was ready to get a new car Roy came to mind. I would definitely recommend Power Mazda(Salem), and Roy Watkins to any one that is looking to purchase a vehicle. More

"Honest", "Appreciative" , Respectful" and "Reasonable" "Extra Mile" are six words that come to mind as I sit here writing this review. On August 19th 2013 my Wife I saw a use Respectful" and "Reasonable" "Extra Mile" are six words that come to mind as I sit here writing this review. On August 19th 2013 my Wife I saw a used Suburban on the internet that we were interested in and decided to call for more details. I was told by one of their salesman that he would go and "check it out" for me and that he'd give me a call back. As promised, he called me back and gave me a 100% honest assessment of the vehicle. We were visiting the Portland area from out of state (Idaho) and had already traveled over 500+ miles so the honest assessment was even more appreciated due to the fact we would have to drive another 50+ miles with our 20 month old baby to physically look at the vehicle. When we got there, the truck was "exactly" as they had represented on the phone...it was a 2001 Suburban with 211,000+ miles with only few blemishes and or flaws here and there (exactly as represented) . In addition, they even delivered the vehicle over 50 miles away to where we were staying with our relatives and I noticed that when they dropped it off, it had a full tank of gas as well. We have chosen to post a full five star rating for these guys simply because we believe it was100% earned for sure.These people have made our car buying experience an absolute pleasure.
