The work by the tech was done right, but it took 3 weeks to complete the warranty work on my Chevy Volt, due to a part being on back-order. So, my car sat there because I couldn't drive it without that part More

"The part is on back-order, and I don't know how long it will take to get your car fixed." That is what I was told by my service advisor when I dropped it off and I was never called or updated on the progress. I called about every week, and was never able to contact a service technician on the first call, because they are always so busy, and I would ask if the part was in. My emails would be ignored, and my voicemails would be answered days later, with a call back asking what I needed. When I called the third time on a Friday, I was told by Dario that the part would be in the next day (Saturday), and they should have it installed on my car by that next Monday. Which took 3 weeks to get my car repaired with zero communication of any of the updates while it sat there at the dealership, it felt to me that the dealer's attitude was I am lucky to have gotten my car back within a month, with the new lower standards of service at your dealership (no more carwashes or shuttle service), and no one answers on a first call when you ask for service. This plays a big role in my next choice of a vehicle purchase and the make of that vehicle, if this is the norm for Chevy hybrid/electric service in my area.
