Went to the service department to get a new ignition key. Took over 2 hours. The agent said the key cutter machine was broke so they had to change the shank out from the old key. No communication from repair rep. Waited six days of hearing nothing before calling. Each time calling had to go through someone else who would only tell me that they would have my re Waited six days of hearing nothing before calling. Each time calling had to go through someone else who would only tell me that they would have my rep call me back. Eventually moved to email to make sure I had a paper trail. They gave an estimate of four things all doable by a layman and at markups of parts of 2 to 4 times MSRP. I replied in email I only wanted one of the four things done, and only if they could do it by that day so I could pick up truck. Got no response and had to go through the phone process again just to pick it up, with the rep being near impossible to contact. Finally I just got a ride there to get my truck back before closing. They had done two of the four things but I had proof in the email I only authorized one. The rep argued with me that the work was already done and it took some time to convince him that it was not my mistake. The rep, Ray was his name, made it an absolutely terrible experience and at the same time wasted the dealership's money giving ultimately free work after I argued it off the bill. More
I needed my rear emblem to be changed and I was told by the service staff to see the parts staff. I was then told by the parts staff to go to another dept. Then I was told to find a guy by his name. Sal was very helpful in going over pricing and getting us the deal we wanted on our new Equinox. There were no unnecessary fees and dealer installed options. It took about 3 hours to be out the door which wa the deal we wanted on our new Equinox. There were no unnecessary fees and dealer installed options. Very bad service on my car. There’s also the issue of no rentals..ever. THEY NEVER AMSWER THE PHONE. I’ve tried to make appointments for services and they don’t answer the phone so I have to go in person and leave my car and again with no accommodations for me to get home. I’ve tried to be patient but they can never accommodate. I took it in for the fourth time hopefully this time it’s fixed but I doubt it. I will be looking for a new dealership. More
