Our salesman Pat was exceptional. He as was knowlegdeable as he was excited about the Mazda 6. All transactions went smoothly from start to finish. Was in the market for a new car and wasn't sure what I wanted to do. As a "let me just see what Maple Shade Mazda has to offer" stop I ran into Jabier Perez who was quick to meet me outside on my way int wanted to do. Quickly identified my needs and answered all my questions I had. I ended up leasing a new Mazda 3 on the spot when offered a great deal. Dealership also followed up several times to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Easily to the best dealership I had been to all day (and I had been to a lot). Maple Shade Mazda will be getting my business for years to come. More
I had read poor reviews of this dealership, but as someone who isn't too hard to please and who finds it pretty easy to get along with people (and since it was the closest dealership to my home), I de someone who isn't too hard to please and who finds it pretty easy to get along with people (and since it was the closest dealership to my home), I decided to keep an open mind, and I went anyway. Big mistake. My brother had just graduated from college and gotten a great job and was looking for a specific model, and they happened to have what seemed to be a decent deal on a used car. We were all ready to sign the papers and get going, and that's when things went wrong. For one thing, our salesperson was also helping another customer (which is completely understandable, they're doing business), but it took him ridiculously long to get back to our table. And then came the kicker -- he came back to us apologizing that he was wrong on the sticker price, that it was actually $1000 more than what he had originally told us. This was after he found out we were planning to pay in cash. We were completely displeased, since this is clearly one of the sleaziest tricks in the book, but my brother had his heart set on the car at that point, so we took it. And then he started to notice some issues with the ignition, and he took it back for service within the warranty period. The service department stated they couldn't find any problems with the ignition, so they did nothing. Literally 2 weeks after the warranty period ended, the car would not start. Period. It was towed to the dealership. They said they did find a problem with the ignition this time and it would cost almost $900 to fix it. My brother checked with Mazda headquarters and they stated that if the vehicle was brought in for the same issue before the warranty and it wasn't fixed, that it would still be covered even though he was 2 weeks past the warranty date. The service department's response was that it was not related to the first problem, so he would have to pay. I'm not a car expert, but if the car wasn't starting consistently, and then it wasn't starting at all, then it seems that the problems are related. We couldn't believe it. To make a very long, nightmare-ish story shorter, we ended up trading in the car a few months later for a brand new car, same model. We thought we'd have more luck at the Turnersville branch, but since they're owned by the same people, apparently no such luck (see the review posted in Maple Shade Mazda - Turnersville for details). We drove out to Piazza Mazda in West Chester, and had a fantastic experience there. Do yourself a favor...save yourself the headache and the problems, and take a drive out to Piazza Mazda for a totally friendly, hassle-free experience! More
