I apologize that you feel as if you were taken advantage of during your service. We never want our customers to leave here feeling that way. Due to your oil pan being plastic and being torqued the way it was, we could not guarantee that it would not start leaking again, which is why we recommended replacing it completely. Even with minor damage, it would not properly seal and had the potential to keep leaking. We could not in good conscious suggest reusing the old part. I apologize that it needed more attention than your request noted. I see you do have an appointment to give the issue the proper attention, and hopefully everything will be good to go after that time. We never try to upsell anything, including filters, without letting the customer know the price and letting the choice be completely the customer's own as to replace them or not. The service experience was a bit chaotic. Never knew which rep to talk to. Felt like a baton in a relay race being handed off . The tech might have broken the seat plastic putting it back on. Not confident with the whole operation. Same experience in Florida at Subaru dealer. Lexus does it a lot better.
