My eighteen year old V50 is in excellent condition. It was purchased at Stadel in Lancaster, Pa. where the sale and the service were superior. During my last eight years in Kalamazoo the service has always been confusing and rude. There are hidden costs, surprising misquotes and charges. I have experienced three week waits for annual appointments and urgent ones. An always new person at the desk never explains necessary repairs or what was done. The phone quote for this week's visit was $63 but cost me $199. No management apology seems to exist for Volvo customers here. It is take it or leave it. The mechanics' work is always fine, as it should be. More
