Appreciate the quick response and turnaround (next day). I brought my 2020 GMC Yukon in for an oil change, tire rotation, and an issue with my passenger running board on August 1st. I dropped my vehicle off at 8:00 (my appointment time) and returned to the deal rotation, and an issue with my passenger running board on August 1st. I dropped my vehicle off at 8:00 (my appointment time) and returned to the dealership at 4:00. My vehicle wasn't ready until after 5:15. Upon completing my service appointment, Mr. Husley gave me a list of items that needed to be addressed on my vehicle that totaled $5200 but the running board problem was forgotten about and not diagnosed. I went with Mr. Husley to his desk and made an appointment for the suggested repairs/system flushes for August 11th at 8:00 and told him that I would need shuttle service to my place of employment that morning. On Monday, August 4th, I called Mr. Husley and changed my upcoming service appointment to include the engine mount crack and the running board problem only because I got another quote for $1500 less for the other maintenance suggestions. I arrived at the service drive at 7:45 a.m. on Monday, August 11th, to drop my car off. The shuttle driver was not there and wasn't available to take me to work until 8:30. After not hearing anything from Mr. Husley on Monday, I called Mandal at 8:00 on Tuesday, August 12th, for an update. Mr. Husley was with a customer, and another service writer took a message for him to call me. At 10:26, I called again, and Mr. Husley informed me that he had just sent the claim to my extended warranty company that morning, and he was waiting for authorization to complete the repairs. When I questioned why he didn't make the request on Monday, he said it was due to the fact that the running board had to be diagnosed and that there wasn't anyone available to do it until the afternoon, and that both repairs needed to be on the same ticket. If he had taken care of it on August 1st, it wouldn't have been an issue. I was then told that I could come get my vehicle and bring it back for a third time in 2 weeks once he had approvals from the warranty company. I told him this wasn't acceptable and that he dropped the ball. I expressed my frustration and said I wasn't sure what I was going to do, and I would have to call him back. I then called my extended warranty company to make sure that I could have the work done at any ASC-certified service provider. I called Mandal and left a voicemail for David Kelly, the Service Director, but 48 hours later, I have not received a call back. I called back at 1:05 and said I would be picking up my car at 2:00, and my service ticket could be closed because I found someone else to do the work. When I arrived at 2:00, my car was ready and the keys were in it, but there was no attempt to explain, apologize, or make amends. More
