My experience was great. I did not go there with intentions on purchasing a vehicle. I was just looking, but I did see the SUV I wanted. The sales guy approached me and I was I did not go there with intentions on purchasing a vehicle. I was just looking, but I did see the SUV I wanted. The sales guy approached me and I was thinking , "Oh, here we go". Surprisingly, he was very easy to talk to and it did not feel like I was talking to sales rep. I was on my lunch break for my work when I bought it . They even drove my new vehicle home for me. Outstanding!!! More
Worst service department I’ve ever experienced. Had “new brakes and rotors” installed on the front of my car on 2/18/23 which cost me $523.46. I had “new brakes and rotors” installed on the back of Had “new brakes and rotors” installed on the front of my car on 2/18/23 which cost me $523.46. I had “new brakes and rotors” installed on the back of my car on 3/24/22 which cost me $510.52. I was charged $1000+ dollars for work that was done incorrectly. I paid for new rotors but they just resurfaced my old ones and charged me for new ones. My “new brakes & rotors” are grinding and squealing now, a issue that I WAS NOT experiencing before I got any of this work done. As soon as they were finished the job I noticed that my supposed “brand new rotors” not only had a lot of rust on them but looked like my old rotors and they had not been replaced. I asked the sales person who checked me in about the rotors because I was expecting brand new steel plates to be installed not old rusted looking ones. The sales person gave me some bs that if any moisture gets in they’ll rust. I was confused and thought it was bs because how could a rotor rust that much in between the few hours it took them to install them to them giving me my car back? I didn’t want to cause a scene or make a big deal so I accepted the poor excuse and left the lot. Leaving the lot and driving up the street, I immediately noticed the brakes were making an extremely loud squealing sound when I pressed them to stop. I googled this issue immediately and google said it could be do to a few different reasons(new brakes sometimes have a break in period, faulty brakes, or something stuck in between the pads)so I decided to wait a few days, assuming it was a break in period, to see if the noise would stop before I decided to complain. The noise persisted so I said something when I went back to get my back brakes and rotors done on 3/24/23. I was told they checked them out and they were fine. The issue still continued but now it was the front and back. I made an appointment to have them checked on 4/03/23. They diagnosed them and said the problem was from a rock stuck in between the pads and said that I was fine now. As soon as I left the dealership and got on route 73 I immediately heard the squealing sound again. I called the dealership back and said the problem was still happening. I was unable to come right back due to having a Drs appointment that day so I made another appointment at Chevy for the following week on 4/11/23. When I went back in for the 3rd time they told me my pads had to be scuffed and cleaned and they had to resurface my “brand new rotors” that aren’t even a month old and haven’t even been through 1000 miles yet. After all that the issue still persists. I will never go back to this dealership again or recommend their service to anyone. It’s been at least 2 weeks since I’ve left multiple messages with 3-4 business days in between each call to the shop to speak to the manager who’s conveniently never in. I’ve contacted GMC corporate who was supposed to get in contact with the manager and then contact me back. GMC called me back 3 days later after they told me I would here back from them within 24 hours only to tell me they’re still waiting to get in contact with the manager. Chevy Mall Cherry Hill is a terrible company with no customer service and shotty mechanics who rip you off for service that isn’t performed. At this point I’ve gotten in contact with legal representation and am giving them to the end of this upcoming week 4/28/23 to rectify this situation or I will be forced to file a civil lawsuit against the company. To anyone reading this review please steer clear of this dealership. Elkins Chevy in Marlton does quality work and they also treat their customers like people not ATMs that you can bleed for every cent like Mall Chevy. More
