Although the cost of the repair was considerable, it could have been much worse. Thankfully my faith in Maita over the last 25 years was not frustrated by dishonesty. An initial diagnostic did not ade could have been much worse. Thankfully my faith in Maita over the last 25 years was not frustrated by dishonesty. An initial diagnostic did not adequately reveal a needed repair resulting in an increase in the potential cost. Recognizing that the diagnostic was inadequate, the service tech spoke to his manager and the additional cost was waived. I am elderly and retired and resources are limited, however, when it comes time to finally trade the old girl in, I will certainly return to Maita for what will be my last vehicle. Thank you so much. More

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change ( and reported that there had been a leak since my last oil change 5.000 miles before) and asked that the problem be corrected. My service has always been done at that there had been a leak since my last oil change 5.000 miles before) and asked that the problem be corrected. My service has always been done at Maita since the vehicle was purchased new from Maita. After several long hours I was notified that the vehicle must remain overnight to fix the oil leak. I was told a "Master Mechanic" would correct the problem. I waited all day for the phone call that the vehicle was ready, but did NOT receive one, so I called and was told that "someone" had called me (which I never received). Now that I have been driving the vehicle and was assured that the leak was fixed, the oil spots on my driveway tell me a MUCH different story. Having a vehicle that had 288,000 miles on it (WITH NO OIL LEAKS) and now it leaks every day. I have work much of my life with mechanical things, and know enough to say " if the job is done RIGHT, a leak can be STOPPED." Needless to say, I am extremely annoyed that my vehicle is making a huge mess on my driveway. More
