My wife and I recently purchased a 2011 Honda Odyssey from Madison Honda. I have to say, this experience was exceptional and just what I would expect a car purchase to be like. Our sales person was h from Madison Honda. I have to say, this experience was exceptional and just what I would expect a car purchase to be like. Our sales person was helpful, knowledgeable, respectful and not pushy... all-in-all a pleasure to work with. We had a few question on specific specific options such as a bike rack, ski rack and cargo tray. Again, our sales person was knowledgable and had a few suggestions for us to consider, some costing us even less. Afterwards, it took about 30-40 mins minutes for us to agree on the purchase price and the value of our trade-in. Importantly, no one "kept the keys". Once we shook hands, we made arrangements to pick up the car two days later on a Monday at 4:00 p.m., to allow time for installation of the options and to sign the papers. Again, great service. Clearly a lot of team work to make this happen. The car was ready at the time promised. As we hope this mini-van last as long as our previous one (126K) the 100k extended coverage was of particular interest to us. Other buyers may not be so interested in the extended warranty if they don't want to keep a car so long. Our finance person discussed the options with us and answered our specific questions such as if the rear air condition breaks or the door sensor gets jammed and doesn't work. I felt like the finance person was looking to find the best way to help address our concerns and not just sell us something. Again a pleasure. Once the extended coverage was done, our sales person guided us through the features of the new car, helped with pairing an iPhone and already had transferred the plates. He sent us on our way. I look forward to our next car purchase at Madison Honda, perhaps sometime in 2024, or hopefully even later. More

I was searching for a car to replace my Honda lost in the flood. Looked at various new cars and the salesman pointed out a 2 yr old low mileage Civic and I knew that was the car that fit my purpose... The salesman was very patient, and went over all the details of the car..No high pressure to purchase it. . The process was made so easy that I didn't have to do a thing. I would recommend Madison Honda anytime. More
Saw a used Honda Pilot online from Madison Honda that looked promising, so I drove an hour and a half to look at the vehicle and test drive it. I liked the vehicle, but there were 2 issues. It was not Ho looked promising, so I drove an hour and a half to look at the vehicle and test drive it. I liked the vehicle, but there were 2 issues. It was not Honda certified which I thought was unusual for a 2008 with less than 50,000 miles. (The fact that it wasn't certified immediately told me there was a reason it wasn't certified and it was probably because it required some costly repairs). The only warranty was what was left on the original power train warranty. The second issue was that it needed new tires(the tires on it did not have enough tread to pass state inspection). After sitting down to negotiate a price, I told P.J. the salesman that I would buy the car that day for about $1200 less than the asking price, and to save us both some time by returning from the manager's office with his best counter offer. The sales manager (I don't remember the woman's name) came out and introduced herself and told me that Madison Honda owned the car for almost $700 more than what the internet asking price was and would only be able to sell the Pilot for the internet asking price. She then returned to her office. I should have walked out of the dealership right that instant after sales manager lied to me about them selling the vehicle for less than they paid for it!! I have worked at a car dealership in the past and know many car dealers and I can tell you that NONE of them sell vehicles for less money than they bought them for!!! They would be out of business if they did. Because I liked the Pilot, I made a final offer to P.J. the salesman. I agreed to pay the dealer's asking price if they agreed to put new tires on the Pilot. P.J. looked at me and said "They (the sales managers) told me not to get back up out of the chair." He sat in his seat refusing to take my offer to his sales manager. I told him that we were done and left Madison Honda stunned by how rudely I was treated and how I was blatantly lied to. Madison Honda would not budge from their asking price and would not even consider my offer to pay the asking price in return for replacing the unsafe tires on the Pilot. Let my experience be a warning to anyone going to Madison Honda thinking they might be able negotiate a better price than the price quoted online. It won't happen because they don't negotiate. Besides you would be better off going to a Honda dealership that has sales managers that don't lie. More
Great experience. I bought an Insight EX car is terrific and gets 50mpg. The bank loan they got me was much better interest rate then I could get on my own and the term was 74 months which works for me. The and gets 50mpg. I leased a new Civic recently and it could not have been any easier! Everyone there was very friendly and welcoming, the transaction was seamless. I have used their service dept. in the past, and presently, any easier! Everyone there was very friendly and welcoming, the transaction was seamless. I have used their service dept. in the past, and presently, and that's the reason I decided to lease a new car from Madison Honda. Reading other reviews here on dealer rater leads me to believe the reviewers are the problem, not this dealership, as I've been doing business with Madison Honda for many years and will continue to do so. I have recommended many people over the years and they all say the same thing. I could buy any car I want and service it anywhere, I choose Honda, and Madison Honda, every time! More
I have been to this service department several times because it is the closest Honda to my house. The people are sexist and look at you like you are an idiot. Also, I am a very reasonable person and u because it is the closest Honda to my house. The people are sexist and look at you like you are an idiot. Also, I am a very reasonable person and understand that people need to get paid for their time but it is just outrageous what they charge for labor! I am moving in about a month and cannot wait to find another Honda service department! Hopefully I will have better luck but one thing is for certain is that I will never go back to this service department ever again. More
