Joseph Tyson of Madison Honda swindled his way into getting me to put down a deposit on a 2012 Civic Si. After asking him repeatedly if the deposit was refundable, I put down the money. After finding a better deal which they refused to match, the dealership then refused to refund my deposit. From what I understand, none of their deposits are refundable. We were told that in order to get our deposit back, the issue needed to be taken up with our credit card company. On top of all of this hassle, the reason I wanted my deposit back was simply because the price they were offering the vehicle at was non-negotiable and astronomically high in comparison to price quotes I was offered by other dealers in the area. I purchased my vehicle from a Honda dealership in West Caldwell. Their service, and level of professionalism was far superior to that of Madison Honda. To be frank, the actions taken by Madison Honda regarding my deposit were ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. I will be putting a complaint in to the better business bureau due to the lack of professionalism and general fairness on part on Madison Honda and more specifically, Joseph Tyson himself. More

I had worked with Chris Gallo at a prior dealership, and when I heard he had moved to Madison we moved our business to Madison as well. Mark took the time to show my daughter the various options available to her and showed genuine excitment for my daughter as she went through this new endeavor. She especially loved the huge gift tag, which was immediately posted on FaceBook even before she had picked up the car! I have already told Mark to let me know when the new 2013 Accords come out so I can trade in my current Accord for a new one. I just moved to NJ so it took me some time to get all my paperwork in order. Mike was very helpful at keeping me posted as to what I still needed. Mike and his boss Chris were always friendly and helpful and had smiles on their faces. You can tell they really love their jobs, and don't just see their customers as dollar signs. He came back quickly with a very good price (based on my internet research). I was able to just say "Yes", without the dreaded visit from the Sales Manager (who did stop by briefly, just to say hello). The dealership, the staff, and the approach to selling me a car completely avoided the sleaziness that unfortunately has stereotyped the industry. I recommend Madison Honda and Paul Fuchs highly. More
