Made an appointment for 8am on a Saturday almost 10 days in advance with a planned drop off the night before after business hours. Was assured that I could drop the car and leave the keys in the drop box an in advance with a planned drop off the night before after business hours. Was assured that I could drop the car and leave the keys in the drop box and technicians would get the vehicle first thing for my 8am appointment. The recalibration for my new windshield was only supposed to be two hours. After 2 1/2 hours, I called to check the status and was told the valets were just now bringing it in for service. 20 minutes later George called to tell me that I had to pay for it because he couldn’t reach anyone at my insurance company to verify payment, even though I left an insurance reference number. You’ve had over a week to verify this information, yet you wait until the day of, on the weekend to tell me this and get reimbursed by my insurance company. Now I have to seek another ride later in the day because my estimated completion time has changed and George can’t give me an estimated time of completion. Over 3 hours later I get the email to pay online and gave instructions to lock my keys in the car and leave it outside the gate for my ride would not be available until after service dept closure. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. You shouldn’t make promises you can’t keep and should make more of an effort to get the paperwork and insurance verification when the appointment is made. Laziness and lack of initiative is no excuse when it comes to customer satisfaction. You’ve made it even easier to bolster my negative attitude towards using dealers’ service departments for anything !! More
Mary was extremely helpful, patient and understood what I was looking for in a mini. She let me take my time, do more than 1 test drives with a few cars.
