Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am sorry that your only visit with us didn’t go as either of us planned. When opening the hood on your 2010 MINI the cable for the hood release cable stretched simply from lack of use. The battery died because it sat here for roughly a week, and we were unable to charge it since the hood wouldn’t open. Once it started to rain your vehicle was brought inside to not get wet.
